Such a wonderful, non-biased piece of journalism there, 4E?
You are not going to let a chance to go without bashing the Left, are you?

Are you referring to yourself or the Democrats?
One is a joke (I think). The other is verifiable.
As Wikipedia notes:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Efforts_t ... nald_Trump
"Immediately after his inauguration, The Independent and The Washington Post each reported on efforts already underway to impeach Trump, based on what the organizers regard as conflicts of interest arising from Trump's ability to use his political position to promote the interests of 'Trump'-branded businesses, and ongoing payments by foreign entities to businesses within the Trump business empire as a violation of the Foreign Emoluments Clause."
Translation: When lefties lose an election, they look for any excuse to try to reverse it.

You seem to act as if the Left is a Borg like organism, centrally controlled, 4E. Do you really believe that? Really?
I believe it when applied to the American left. You and the rest of the Australian left will have to answer for yourselves.
brian ross wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:41 pm
I don't believe the Right is centrally controlled nor that everybody who ascribes to the Right is necessarily Hitler personified.
Then you'd never fit in with the American left.

You appear to decry "the Left" at every opportunity and lump me with the more extreme elements in it. Do you think that is fair? I don't.
It's as fair as you lumping me and other American right-wingers in with the KKK.

I believe I am sensible in my opposition to el Presidente Trump. He is a nasty, lying, egotistical, bullying character and that is on his good days.
You could say the same for most politicians. Obama wasn't exactly a man of modest ego, nor was he generous to his political opponents, once petulantly saying to Republicans, "You can ride with us if you want, but you gotta sit in the back seat."
Notice, too, how Obama disrespectfully answers a question of Senator John McCain by dismissively reminding his former presidential opponent, "The election's over."

So Obama often acted like a prick. It's just that the American media were too busy leading cheers, doing the splits and waving their pom poms to object to it.
As for Trump ... yeah, he can be arrogant and egotistical at times. But so what? The economy is thriving compared to the way Obama left it. Jobs are returning to American shores. China isn't pushing us around economically. And we aren't admitting millions of Third Worlders -- especially from terrorism-laden nations -- as if our nation's survival depended on it.
So to me, it's like the old saying about morality: If I had to have open-heart surgery, I'd rather it be done by an expert surgeon who cheats on his wife than a first-time surgeon who's a faithful church-goer.

He has been reported transgressing many US laws concerning record keeping, concerned conflicts of interest and of course, he hates anybody who dares criticise him or his policies.
Uh-huh, and the key word here is "reported." A thinking observer would say to himself, "Who's doing the reporting, and what political biases might they harbor?"
brian ross wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:41 pm
Hardly a great leader for any nation, let alone the US which is supposedly "the leader of the free world", to have elected. Yet you appear to support him 100%. Funny that.
Yep. Because however rough around the edges Trump might be, he puts America and Americans first -- unlike Obama, who cared more about winning the adoration of European globalists.
What else explains Obama's willingness to sign on to the Paris climate agreement, knowing full well that it let China skate for 15 years while requiring America to reduce its carbon emissions 28 percent and pay $3 billion to the U.N.?
I'll take substance over style, thanks.
