Labor seems to think that young couples, in the 1970s and 1980s (and before that too), who saved like crazy and did without to save a deposit to buy a house in SYDNEY (plus other Cities) that is now worth millions are "rich", and should be punished!
Sure they paid their Mortgage, had kids, went without stuff like every young couple who gets a Mortgage. The fact that they worked hard and eventually paid off their Mortgage and now OWN the house, doesn't mean much to the Leftards. They want their share! Socialist style.
Just because your house is "worth" whatever, doesn't mean you are rich.
However, I would recommend that
everybody "goes without" to make sure that they do have somewhere to live (paid off) as they get old .... otherwise you have nobody else but yourself to blame for having to rent when on the Pension!
Sitting around on Forums, whining about stuff doesn't get any sympathy from me. Sorry. That's the way Life is. It wasn't meant to be easy.
