Gillard nervous about EU resolution-So Issues flag-warning

Post by mellie » Tue Oct 25, 2011 5:50 am

In her speech today to open the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting business forum in Perth, the Prime Minister will say Europe's response has been slow and inadequate and the world wants a ''convincing plan'' to emerge from the emergency European Union summit being held tomorrow.

''While the epicentre of the crisis is Europe, all of us as Commonwealth member nations stand to suffer if the correct response is not forthcoming,'' she will say.

''Those of us in Commonwealth countries who have worked so hard to maintain prudent financial oversight and balanced growth.

''Those of us who have worked so hard, especially in Africa, to boost governance, democracy and the rule of law. Those of us who rely upon the flow of remittances from our workers abroad to sustain our economies at home.''

Of the 54 nations, five, including Australia, are members of the Group of 20. Ms Gillard will go to France after CHOGM for the G20 leaders' summit, which will be consumed by the euro crisis.

Well, she has to be seen playing the role of leader I guess, or else we might assume she's a mere EU appointed drone destined to fuck-over our country.

So, as she licks Europe with platitudes, what happened last time we endured a sovereign debt crisis?

Well lets take a look...

In other words, we are now expected to bail out Europe,

"It’s not all bad news, however. Mr. Kenningham notes that all modern sovereign debt crises occurred in emerging economies, meaning that advanced economies could be spared the banking apocalypse that countries like Russia and Argentina experienced. But the odds are stacked against them."

Is the EU bailout a racket for financial elites?

Should our government be taking preventative steps now to thwart or alleviate the burden of an impending GFC?

"See, this is why we have not returned to surplus by 2012 Australia, we had to help bail out the EU."-Gillard?

Just more prosaic statements coning from the Labor camp.

As we speak the EU heads are bunkered down in the final stages of planning for a plan that will bring forth a plan for the future financial stability of Europe. They are taking this very seriously... They have been planing the planing for a plan since this mess began. I'm tellin' ya Mellie... these dudes can out plan the best planners ever to have planed a plan that plans.

We are in safe hands.

When will Gillard per-release a press announcement of her intention to start planning her plan?

She's a super-freak.
