Normal members (big stretch to include dweeby little IQ in that I know ) most posting fairly frequently and regularly.

That “( banned Member)” against IQ is only half right, IQ is suspended not banned, unless Aussie bans him while he is suspended: Aussie has history of doing this.

I would far rather be on aussies list than on a list that includes freediver and IQ. I am amazed Lefty is on that list. I think MM is probably only on it because aussie wants the amendment, but if she voted with the well-being of this forum at heart i think her vote woudl change. I implore Lefty, Yourself and Socky to change your votes. The kiwi-dave situation should not be able to happen again. At the time you agreed with that Monk. Petitions should not be able to hang around forever if they cannot muster the required votes in a reasonable time - why? For the simple reason that things and people's opinions change. It is possibel we shoudl not even be able to petition the admin position- just tolewrate it for a fixed twelvemonth term after which teh admin has to stand for reelection if he wants it.

No, it is not, Monk. The sole reason I introduced the proposal for that Amendment when I did was to assist me deal with your complaint (with which I agreed) concerning the Annie Petition. (I cannot just delete what you and I might consider unworthy/vexatious because of just of 'our' personal opinion. I need Constitutional backing.)

However, I do agree that the discussion which has ensued has been beneficial to us all when we consider what I propose as the on-going provision.

RM, if you change your mind, withdraw your signature. it's as simple as that. On the other hand, if you are waiting for a suitable candidate to step up, you do have a valid reason to wait until signing.

Aussie claims this is about one silly petition he wants to get rid of. What it is really about is that he blames the longevity of the previous petition on his most recent downfall. That is, he made the referendum for his own benefit, not for the good of the forum. He wants to make it harder for the democracy here to function.
