As regards your above question .. my advice?

1) Sit back and watch closely .. and do nothing.
Aussie, could you please ask Lisa the following... 8-)

Sit back and watch for what? What signs would you look for, whilst sitting back, to tell you that the market had probably bottomed?

If you like .. read back over our posts. I'm not going to repost them here for you. It's really easy to click back though ..
Yes you are talking to Leftwinger and the whole forum noticed that you fobbed him off with a vacuous answer to a valid question in a topic you claim to have sound knowledge of.

EDIT ADDITION - Lefty's currently offline, so you're not discussing anything with him.
Read my previous post. I've nothing more to say to you.

WTF for? ... and wot, I'm spozed to be upset 'coz sum dingbat sayz "I'm not talking to you anymore" .. oh boo hoo, wot a trajedy ... you're still busted, FRAUD!

EDIT ADDITION - Besides, why would a contemptuous bastard like me give a rat's poo tube what some no value/substance blowin care or actually think? .. especially when they pretend to be stupid, or are actually as increadibly stupid as they appear.

Y'see dingbat, posters who come here with baggage are unpopular because they're a nuisance, simple as that, but you actually chased your baggage to here, according to your own story anyway. And for all we know, you could have registered your clones yourself, prior to your supposed genuine arrival as a pretext for playing victim, which you did play when you 1st turned up.
How are we to know its not just some anonymous wanky stage play?

But some relatives who earn much more than we do have just informed us that they are selling their investment property because the financial burden is becoming too much. As I have always thought, it really has been allowed to become much to expensive for people of ordinary means to afford a house with a prudent and sensible level of debt repayment.

Ahh ok. When you get back .. I would love to hear a bit more about this.

It will be very beneficial for us to look at why an investment property doesn't always work out.
I forgot to ask .. was the property in question in NSW? Land tax is an issue for us here .. unfortunately. I should know as I pay heaps of it each year on all my properties :(

Soo .. how about we ALL give this awesome topic another go.

In case you've not yet realised .. I'm really passionate about property. Even so .. in all fairness to IQ (who as we all know, consistently chooses to be an abrasive, crude and rude individual on here for some unknown reason), this is his topic and he does know quite a bit about the property market also (I've tested him out a few times and he knows enough even by my high standards of excellence and perfection lol).

It would be lovely if we could all jump in here and post in good faith.

There's so much to learn and discover if we share what we know (however little that may be).
Hmmm .. IQ's been a tad quiet since I posted this. Not sure why. Ahh well .. in any event, if anyone cares to look back, IQ and I had a great discussion on property earlier on in this topic ( when he was a tad nice n normal ).

There's a few good tips in that discussion also.

Don't worry, he'll be back to slag you off soon enough. As if he's going to take some character making themselves out to be a property investor/speculator, and specialising in it at that, seriously, when they can't even answer the most rudimentary questions on that very topic.

Yogi Bear.. I mean this ever so sincerely .. GGF!

I think that aptly encapsulates how I feel about a pesky dhead like you who doesn't bother to read back what I've posted with someone else in a discussion spanning several days .. and who expects me to repost things for him as if I was some online gopher (which I can assure you I bloody well am not)!

Looks like you've caught her out (blown cover story) Lefty.
If she was into, and so experienced, with what she claims to be her specialty and occupation, she could have punched out an answer off the top of her head.
Nahh .. it's just a part time hobby as far as I am concerned.
But you said you're into property, specialise in it, and are required to be online or oncall 24/7 supposedly because it is your occupation ... now its just a hobby ... make up yer mind dingbat.
My family and friends reckon it's my "other" occupation though. Not sure why.
Oh right, other occupation now. So what's the primary occupation?, prostitution?, telemarketing? Speed dealing?
Oh and I never punch out answers off the top of my head when it comes to property. Only an idiot would do that.
Oh and you always wimp out with a pitiful cop-out when challenged on your fairy stories.
