Wayne Swan is that guy you hate at work. He sucks up to the Boss. When the eventual "change" comes, Wayne is still sucking up to the Boss. Ineffectual prick.

when u pull ur head out of your arse you might understand that the voters decide who will be PM. the labor party only decide who will be the parliamentary leader. its simple to understand. if the voters dont vote for the labor party the leader does not become the PM. so you could try again to answer this question

who decided who would be prime minister on 24 November 2007

It's a representative democracy. We elect the local member, those local members decide which party has the numbers to rule, and the party decides who to put forward to the Queen's representative to become our Prime Minister.

Direct democracies like the US directly elect their leaders via an open election, we don't.

You can't honestly laugh when the polls all have a preferred PM and news bites from the head ministers all come out and say "Kev will lead us to the next election" a day before he is tossed out with last night chicken roast from parliament house cafeteria?

If people don't vote for the PM, why did Labor change nothing but their PM?

If your Labor, you don't even keep him for a term.

It must be hell being a convictionless, poll driven party. I'm surprised Labor hasn't tried to nationalise Newspoll or Neilsen
