That's what I said several days ago!!! :rofl :rofl
Thats right you did too, it must be a world wide thing!
It must be a world wide thing? Well dayum Red did you really think a bunch of Indians just came out to Oz and started their own Seven 11 stores?
Doesnt sound very Indian to me (although most stores now days are Franchises)

The chain is owned by Mr Russell Withers, his sister Beverley Barlow and their spouses. The siblings brought the franchise to Australia in the 1970s and their wealth is estimated at more than $1.5 billion. Mr Withers also serves as the company's chairman.

Being new I'd do my best to be at least a little bit polite to them though.
I believe you started the rudeness, calling 7/11 a "subservient little dolt". If you're gonna dish it, expect it back.
There are lots of threads here covering all the points you have made. Scroll through them and see if there is anything you wish to address there. Sources are all provided in the relevant threads. Politics moves quickly as do the threads. I honestly don't have the time to go through all those threads to re-source.
So you're refusing to source information, instead airily referring 7/11 to 'read the board'? You can't be serious. If you don't "have the time to go through all those threads" do you really think it's reasonable that he does it, in order to find a source for your view?

If many points are brought up that are not in direct relation to this particular topic and that are extensively covered elsewhere, yes I do. There's a search feature where you can type in "George Floyd", "BLM" etc, if that helps 7/11, and where you'll get lots of hits but a "view" is an opinion and doesn't need a source. I'm sorry but I don't store these old sources in my head. A lot of it is almost a year old.

I meant the "subservient little dolt" comment as a generalisation of some leftist indoctrination and not as an individual personal attack so I apologise if 7/11 thought that but I also said that in response to 7/11's calling those of us who disagree "bullshit conspiracy" theorists and at least I have put an effort into replying at length. If you don't like my responses I won't bother and perhaps you can take over.

Last Wednesdays Gathering in Washington

An American Perspective on the DC Tragedy
On Wednesday January 6th 2021, over a half a million Americans gathered to peacefully rally and petition their government to honor and protect our election from fraud and corruption, and to restore the integrity of the 2020 vote. It was a gathering of good and decent people. They came forth as the best of our nation and shouldered the responsibility of petitioning our representatives to protect our elections and ensure that our vote was clean and legal and the election open and transparent. They gathered in hopes of preserving our Republic for all Americans.

The over half million rallied as they have done for the last decade. They were of good spirits and positive despite the abuses, threats and violence inflicted on them over the last decade. They are the best of America in so many ways. The DC mayor removed the hundreds of portable bathrooms during the night from around the Washington Monument. The restaurants were shut down and the food truck vendors were banned. She acted in ways that are indefensible for a mayor to treat Americans depraving them of access to bathrooms, food and water. The weather was sub-freezing with a strong north west wind of 20 mph and gusty. The grounds were soggy and the cold crept through the moist grounds through shoes and socks after 6 hours of standing out in the elements, but throughout all of this, the crowd remained in good spirits.

President Trump was masterful in presenting the case of massive coordinated voter fraud on an epic historic scale throughout the nation and in particular, in the 6 contested states. The evidence was compelling and irrefutable. It reminded all of the efforts by the major media organs and the social media platforms to suppress, shutdown and censored the fact and evidenced from ever reaching the light of day. At the end, the president asked the faithful to present themselves to the Capital peacefully. We are and have always been law abiding and supporters of police, so there was no issue about the right to petition our representatives on the matter of protecting our vote and the results of the 2020 election. WE looked restoration of the vote of millions of legal voters.

The violence and mayhem that occurred was not connected in any way to President Trump or the patriots that assembled. As Chairman of the Virginia Tea Party, I condemn lawlessness and violence that occurred at the Capital as I have condemned the violence, looting, arson, assaulting, killing that our nation suffered through all last year by the left-wing hate groups like Antifa and BLM.

So we who assembled for this DC Stop the Steal MAGA rally are proud of our participation and involvement and condemned the incidents of violence that distracted from our good faith effort to protect the voting rights of all Americans and to seek restoration of the millions of legal votes that were negated in the voting fraud operations conducted and orchestrated by the democrats.

No regrets from the many who attended. I applaud all those peaceful and conscientious patriots that gathered on Wednesday and I am proud to be counted among the faithful who stood that day before our President and our Congress. I was honored to be able to help bring a group from my area and neither they nor I ever regretted that decision to come to DC and make a stand for our Republic.

I love our nation and our freedoms. It is a fading hope, but it remains my sincere desire that we Americans can recognize one another as Americans once again.

May God Bless and Keep all of you and may He grant our nation cleansing of the evil that was inflicted on our nation and on our elections and make it so that America is made Great again.

Tear down a statue and Nike made it a commercial. Kamala raised bail money for criminals. Joe was silent. Just stop the hypocrisy.” .................

Sorry, it was a 'verbal mistake' not a 'gaffe'. But there's something more interesting you say here, that "Trump is scorching the earth on his way out and, to be honest, {you} don't blame him." The amount wrong with this is astounding.
I don't agree that Trump is scorching the earth on his way out.
Neither do I, but that is what BO thinks. Glad to see we agree on something?

[*]Firstly, you seem to think Trump made these comments recently. he did not. He made these comments during his original campaign to get elected, so that justification you give doesn't work at all

It's you that is being neurotic -
carrying on about a verbal mistake from years ago
and even making your name up from it.
I'll make a sepparate post explaining the meaning and purpose behind the moniker soon, since it seems to have garnered a fair amount of discussion. TL;DR I dont think what Trump said was a small mistake when it is looked at in a wider context and I was hoping to drawe attention to the multiple horrible things he has said about the tragedy that was 9/11. The rest of your post is on this topic too. I promise I didn't "make up" the context however, in one of my earlier posts I provide plenty of links explaining why that I will resubmit in my later post.

I'm straight forward and say what I think so please don't misrepresent what I say. I didn't hear what Trump said about 9/11 so I am not going to comment. Trump has his bad side and many foibles and I doubt anyone has denied otherwise and he's certainly lost the plot recently. He has also done a great deal of good for the American people whilst thumbing the establishment and that is what I have addressed in his favour in the past. Less tax, much better conditions for veterans, bringing the troops home and brokering several ME peace deals just for starters. The list goes on and on and there is a thread here by Sprint, I think, with it all listed.
This is neat... but totally irrelevant. Nowhere does this address anything I asked. Also, as I will go into more detail on later, I have no obligation to find your own sources for you.

I'm the only one here who has responded to you at length so accusing me of ad hom is disingenuous and, yes, I do know what it means and I'm also not ready for the old folks home just yet thank you very much. I might be bad at my job, as you say, but I did take the time to respond to you with more than just a short sentence or two
Yes you responded with the most words... but still no actual content. No sources, no focus, no nothing. Even if you had, Ad hom is still Ad Hom so I don't think your defence holds much water.

For reference, I only started sprinkling in insults after you had opened the floodgates. I welcome whatever insult you can think of, but the ones listed below are all tired and boring, much like their author.

No. YOU make a claim? YOU provide sources. Not me, not anyone else. YOU.

If you don't have time to respond properly, with sources, than you don't have time to respond at all. Unless you have the brain power to make ontological arguments (you don't) than a source is a requirement for any claim made. I made a point of removing every source from my last post specifically to demonstrate how difficult it can be to have reasoned conversation without it. I now realise there wasn't any point to that demonstration, because you never tried to engage with my arguments anyways, and probably never will.

I'm not a mind reader so I don't know what motivates people to violence but I will say that there is NO justification for violence from either side.

Perhaps one of the Americans here can address your points more to your satisfaction. Being new I'd do my best to be at least a little bit polite to them though.
Here you openly admit you can't address my points... ok. And yes I do promise to play nicely with anyone who didn't insult me first. I tell you what, if you apologise to me for the insults you made, and promise not to insult me again, I won't say anything mean about you ever again either.

In fact, what you've said tehre is a bold faced lie when you've openly defended right wing vioence at the capital
Now that's what's called a bald faced lie.
[/quote]

Wow thanks for correcting my spelling, you rerally engaged with the core of my argument there. Also, does it feel bad when someone misrepresents you and your points? Because again, BO, I knew what I was doing. I was proving how annoying it is to argue against you when you do that exact same thing. Below is what you have said about me, a member who has not commented on any of these issues, as if you knew me personally. You, BO, are a hypocrite.

People do care what is right or wrong but what I find astoundingly hypocritical is the way your side turns a blind eye to the past 4 years of calls to violence by many Democratic officials. That's apparently ok but when there is push-back (which was always going to be inevitable) you hide behind your blinkers with your faux outrage.

Seattle, Michigan, Portland are still the epicentres of extreme violence, burning and looting by the left nightly a year on and it is being ignored by the MSM. They control the narrative and you swallow it like a subservient little dolt.

I strongly condemn violence from all sides but you and your ilk have been silent this past year while cities were destroyed and livelihoods lost. You are hypocritical to the enth. Where were you with your faux outrage these past 4 years when Democrats like Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, Ted Lieu, James Clapper, Cory Booker, Eric Holder, Joachin Castro etc have been calling for and endorsing violence against Trump supporters? In your dark little cave in mummy's basement?
I'm gonna wrap up this response by once again asking you PLEASE actually look at my arguments and respond to them in their entirity, not small sections out of context, not spelling mistakes, but the actual point I make. It's clear you disagree with me, but I don't know why.

This is just a quick little thank you to both Redneck and Nom De Plume for welcoming me to the board. I'm hoping I can stick around to lend my perspective on a whole heap of issues. At the moment I'm itching to talk about Trump being banned from Twitter, as well as maybe retroactively discussing any election fraud or the coronavirus.

Here's my current slate of posts to write:
1. A response to Texan
2. A post explaining my moniker so we don't keep going around in circles
3. Trump getting banned from twitter (new thread)

We may never know if it was Trump supporters, or antifa in disguise, or both that pushed their way into the building and broke windows, but they were all idiots who deserve to be thrown under a jail. The screwed over the hundreds of thousands of law abiding people outside and the millions who support them.
To be 100 percent honest with you, I think it's pretty clear that the very least, the absolute majority of those who stormed the capital were Trump supporters. Mixed amoungst them may be a small number of antifa, journalists, undercover cops, or who knows what else, but there isn't any real proof of that yet. The Washington Post at one point incorrectly stated that facial recognition camera's had identified known Antifa sympathisers, but the company responsible for that equipment has denied this claim entirely.

Democrats were right on cue with using the situation to their advantage. They are using this to go after all potential political opposition. First, they are trying to get Trump removed from office. Not because he did anything wrong, but because by impeaching him he would be banned from future political office and exposing their hypocrisy and election fraud. Trump is bombastic and not the least bit worried about political correctness, but he had America on the right track before the plandemic. Our military is strong, our allies in NATO are contributing per the agreement, we aren't being sucked into pointless wars, we are energy independent, our borders have become more secure, judicial positions were being filled with many Constitutional conservatives, and more people were off of the welfare roles.
I don't quite agree with your analysis of why Democrats want to impeach Trump. If there is election fraud, Why would Trump need public office to find it? The stated reason is far more obvious: Democrats dont want Trump preemptively pardoning himself, family, rioters, or anyone else or otherwise avoiding justice. There is legal precedent that Trump would have the power to do so: Ford preempively pardoned Nixon for Watergate, and Carter did the same for Vietnam draft dodgers

Democrats continued with trying to get Republicans to pressure Ted Cruz out of office. Ted Cruz did nothing but oppose the Democrats by legally and Constitutiionally challenging the election process in 4 states. These 4 states conducted their elections illegally by changing the election laws through executive mandates and judicial overreach using the covid plandemic as an excuse. Our US Constitution specifically states that election laws are to be set by the state legislatures. Ted Cruz seems to be the only other politician with the balls to stand up to the Democrats, hence he is their secondary target. I voted for Ted in the 16 primaries and I'm proud to call him my senator. My other senator can suck an egg.

Where does this leave us? It looks like Potato Head Joe is going to be in the White House for a few weeks. Harris, who wasn't popular enough to stay in the primary race through the first races, will bring in a radical agenda that will be good for none of us. My kid in the military is going to have one of these turds as his commander in chief. I've told him to keep his mouth shut on social media to avoid trouble. I may be doing some of that myself. I see them trying to skirt the 2A and confiscate every gun they can and tax the private ownership of guns out of existence. Joe and Kamala oppose everything that I praised Trump for earlier in this post. How this country will stay united I have no idea. I see China and Russia ramping up their influence and spreading their lesser challenged authority in world affairs. Good luck.
This all looks like topics for another discussion. I'm happy to dive into that, but this thread is already filled with contentions about Indian conveinece stores and debate ettiquette on top of it's actual purpose, So I'll save it for elsewhere.
