Victoria records zero COVID cases on Monday and zero deaths

Victoria has recorded no new COVID-19 cases a day after the premier put Melbourne’s restriction easing on “pause”.

On Monday, the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed zero new COVID cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.

There have also been no further deaths, leaving the state’s death toll at 817.

The 14-day rolling average in metropolitan Melbourne is now 3.6, which is a decrease of 1.0 from Sunday.

The rolling average in regional Victoria is 0.2 and there are seven mystery cases.
