Good news. I just made my last truck payment. She is officially Mrs. Texan's truck and now I can double down on mortgage payments. 3-4 years to being debt free unless I build a new home.
well done

A new full size truck with a V8 will cost between $35k - $60k depending on how nice of a truck you want. Mine is now 5 years old with 100k miles on it, but in great working order.

This is a stock photo, but identical to Mrs. Texan's truck.

I still owe $85k on the house, but if I pay $2k/month in principle, it will disappear fast. My interest rate is only 2.75%.

Make sure they are chained/locked in at night Tex. You don't want them disappearing amongst the panic.
