I don't understand why it will take such a long time to get a vaccine for Covid-19 ?
I've heard 1 year to 18 months.

Every year we get a vaccine available for up to 4 different types of flu.
We are told that it's the flu that was in the Northern hemisphere over their winter
which is often only 3 to 4 months from when we are inoculated.

So why is a Covid-19 vaccine going to take up to 5 times longer?

A research team in Queensland say they are only 10 days away from using a vaccine on humans and in the US the first participant in a clinical trial for a vaccine to protect against the new coronavirus will receive an experimental dose on Monday.

Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health says the United States has developed a vaccine for the coronavirus, COVID-19, in record time. Fauci made the statement at the White House update on the coronavirus.

He told reporters that the first vaccine was given in Seattle on Monday.

"The vaccine candidate that was given the first injection for the first person took place today. You might recall that when we first started I said it would be two to three months and if we did that, that would be the fastest we've ever gone in obtaining the sequence to being able to do the Phase 1 trial. My understanding is Bob that the corona virus is the same group of virus's that causes the common cold, and they dont have a vaccine for that, Covid 19 has already mutated,

My advice would be to infect everyone and let god decide who stays, and who goes

My doctor told me that most people just get a runny nose for 3 days so don't worry about it.

Only 5 people have died from it in Australia -
more people have died slipping on banana skins -
I think it's all over hyped and people are panicking for nothing.

You wont get any argument from me Bob, I am totally underwhelmed by it, On Friday im taking the company up to the local Chinese restaurant for yum cha , as an act of support for them, I will also be picking up the tab..we only have 9 people working for the company so it wont break the bank lol
