Personally I would prefer to see a real woman with real accomplishments be up for WOMAN of the Year. Organising another Mardi Gras in Wagga isn't an 'accomplishment' worthy of the nomination imo.

why is it ok for a bloke in a dress to use toilets for women?..... and women just have to accept it...

why dont they use men only toilets where apparently people like bri bri wouldnt mind them wearing dresses and stiletto heels.

seems to me problem solved?.....

Looking at the "woman", here, it's not a very good one. Had science not progressed in a way that allowed people to have a sex change, they would have to remain as the gender they started out as, like it or not.

I couldn't care less, personally, whether somebody decides they want to "switch sides". Just don't expect any special treatment or rights because of it.

In this case, it's what Nicole has already pointed out -- tokenism.

"Holly" gets a nomination for what, exactly? Marching at some obnoxious circus parade, while so many real women get overlooked for things that they do which is actually beneficial to their communities, for being naturally-born women?

"Holly" looks more like a man now than she did before! As a woman-lovin' woman, this level of pandering to political correctness is disgusting. Real women were being "oppressed" before, and now they're even more so "oppressed" when people now accept, without question, despite the writing on the wall, that some ugly tranny bloke is a "woman" and grant him awards that are tailored to "women".
