I'm not going to deny I don't give a damn if the terrorists end up in unmarked graves. It's better than they deserve.

Wait and see - they will rise again -
the Middle East wars will go on forever.
Obama created ISIS - Trump killed it.

Wars have been going on in he Middle East for centuries - the US isn't the "Worlds" policeman - let them sort it out themselves and stop getting our men killed for nothing. Worse than nothing - The sand monkey's hate our guts and it will only bring them to our shores,

The only winner is the Military industrial complex and others enriching themselves on the dead bodies of the coalition forces.

Its sick.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Another who proposes a war crime. Oh, dearie, dearie, me. Such a willingness to cede the moral high ground, hey, Black Orchid?
What the hell are you babbling on about? If, or hopefully when, terrorists are dead I don't give a damn where they are buried or if they are buried at all. I don't want to wash their feet and kiss them as I wave them off like you appear to want to.

Good post - it's the Military industrial complex that makes even things we consider simple like ammunition
which keeps these wars going for terrorist groups -
I wonder where the thousands of tonnes of bullets etc - comes from?
Outside forces are bringing in ammunition by the ship load to keep the wars going.
Who is doing it?

Amazing, utterly amazing. You mistake a desire to treat them legally as humans for a desire to "wash their feet and kiss them"? Really? Black Orchid you obviously are a complete fool if you believe wishing to treat people as we are required to under the Geneva Conventions and International Law equates to treating them favourably. Really?

All I am pointing out is that your foolish would eventually be repaid. You are giving the moral high ground to our enemies.

Brian -
Bush was right -
but now progressive thinkers in the US military have applied normal humanitarian principles to the worst people who ever existed.
ISIS - beheaded people, slit their throats, crucified people, burnt people alive inside cages, drowned people in cages and put it all on the internet. They raped women and for crimes of not having a long enough beard a man could be crucified.
You don't apply normal rules to people like that - you take no prisoners - any that do give up - you bury them in the desert and get rid of them forever.
That didn't happen so they will be back to haunt the world again.
It's people like you that are to blame - do gooders who don't know how to fight this kind of war.
Bobby, do you like being a Nazi sympathiser? A fascist? A barbarian? I was always under the impression that the West was supposedly morally superior to Islamists. Appears I was mistaken. Laws exist and are enforced to ensure that all are equal before the law. You commit a crime, you're apprehended and your charged, tried and sentenced. Yet you seem to being say, "Oh, they did such and such, that means they have no rights, they have no legal standing." Really? Such foolishness, such silliness.

Out in the real world, modern armies are subject to Military Law and Military Law comes from Domestic Laws and International Treaties which countries have signed. Our soldiers cannot massacre people simply because of what those people have allegedly done. Our soldiers cannot kill prisoners without repercussions. We fought World War Two to reinforce those points. Korea and Vietnam reinforced them even further. You cannot simply throw away all that history and all that legal precedence.

How about you ship out with the next deployment, Brian, and while OUR soldiers are fighting for their lives and trying to carry their own wounded and dead to safety you can carry the shovel and start digging the holes.

There's only one fool here. Try looking in the mirror.

So Brian - you and many others like you would want a nice war with lots of rules?
The allies need to do 2 things to win:
(1) take no prisoners
(2) stop the terrorists from being supplied with shiploads of ammunition.

You forget, Black Orchid, I have done my time in a baggy green skin. What exactly have you done as far as military service are concerned? I suspect I am a great deal more aware of Military Law and it's requirements than you are. You want us to act like barbarians. You want us to be like the Islamists. Sorry, not going to happen.
