Do you have a fully self sustainable home, Brian? Solar panels? Wind turbines? A self sufficient water system? Water storage tanks? A geothermal energy system? Composting? Do you drive an electric car that runs solely off your self sustainable grid?

My house has Solar Panels. I have a solar hot water system. I have investigated geothermal power but unfortunately the ground where I live is unsuitable for that solution. Windpower could work but I would need Council Planning Permission to install a turbine.

For every carbon dioxide molecule moronic numpty panic merchants falsely believe they haven't contributed to the atmosphere I purposefully make sure to increase my output threefold.

You dont have a solar hot water system. You have a carbon belching electric water heater with a small and inefficient solar buffer and you have a completely useless waste of resources that has generated carbon being manufactured and shipped to you than they will ever save sitting on your roof and to top it off, you finance it by draining the wallet of your poorest neighbours.

Most of it because Japan, Korea, China and now India is following the European and North American examples of how to industrialise their economies. The world's cooling is over and done with. Today, the world is experiencing hotter and hotter years. Just because you have your head buried in the sand does not mean that the rest of us have to suffer heat death.
