Is it true that Blanch had her profile on Tinder the day Bob was buried?

From what I have read Hawke's kids received $750,000 each and Blanche got the rest. She had their house on the market before he was even cold and scooped in $15 million for that alone. So I very much doubt the proceeds will be shared with his children or they wouldn't be contesting the Will to begin with.

Perhaps they might even have liked to keep some of the things sold for sentimental and not monetary reasons?
I wasn't aware of any of that. Haven't been reading what Blanche and Hawke's kids have been doing. So perhaps she was just being a bitch and wanting more money for herself?

Oh, regarding the Auction of my Mother's stuff, one sister wanted some of the antique items and had to go to the Auction and bid so her money went into the "pot" and she got what she wanted, including a Royal Doulton dinner set that she paid $6,000 for! I really wasn't interested in Mum's antiques but we were all "allowed" to take a few things after the Funeral as mementos, I chose a nice mantel clock that my Grandmother gave Mum and Dad for their 15th Wedding Anniversary, that has Westminster chimes on the quarter hour and as very loud DONG DONG DONG on the hour, that I recall hearing when I was a kid ... plus my share of the money, naturally.
That is a good idea.
With our family, would have to limit it to 1 momento each, Take turns according to numbers drawn to see who goes first.

Even then, there would probably be a fight

Families. Complete with partners nobody really "likes" and bratty kids. Christmas is when families get-together and it often ends up as one BIG fight. You are NOT alone, I am yet to hear of a Family Christmas that goes smoothly and everybody goes away still luvving each other. :rofl

The Funeral was slightly different. Mum's death was sudden and it was the first time us 4 daughters got together in a long time, due to the above "problem" which upset Mum. Our Uncle was Executor and he was pretty strict. One sister left straight after the Funeral (didn't want "anything"), the other 2 decided to raid the cupboards (Mum had new linen still with labels) and picture frames and odds and sods. I took my clock and was irritated at what the other 2 were doing with their little piles of "stuff" and came back to Canberra. I definitely was NOT going to have a fight on the day of Mum's funeral.

my daughters mother in law lived next door to her for the last 9 years of her life.

during that time the two daughters both in Sydney came here to visit her about 4 times..

she [died at 92].had to travel by train to see them...

when she died my daughter did all the funeral planning they just werent interested..

on the day that side of the family...[as we called them] kept in their own little group and basically ignored everyone else..

and even the neighbours came to say goodbye...

but you should have seen them in the house.. it was a real grab and snatch....my daughter got what they didnt want...

one took a grandfather clock that their mum thought a lot of but was convinced it was worth money..

lol the sister took it and had it valued $80.... I got a laugh out of that... but then i am a meanie

I have told my 3 when it comes to taking memories they take it in turns eldest first the first time, the middle one the second time and third one and so one.....one or two things are in my will...I hate the thought of them fighting .....and it happens time and time again.. so sad.

What a mercenary bitch - before he was even cold!
Oh, I dunno, Bobby. I read Blanche's own biography and I was amused by her story about her life in one of Australia's top schools for girls, where the girls were only allowed to wear white Bond's Cotton Tail knickers. That did not stop 14 year old Blanche getting regularly screwed by a Jewish judge in his chambers. She then ran away from home with a married man and fled to Melbourne. When her male lover went to the bank to withdraw some cash, Blanche watched as the Victorian Police suddenly appeared and arrested him. She then looked around and saw her very cross mum and dad standing on the pavement, and that she should come with them, right now.

She went back to Dover Heights in Sydney and was almost grounded for life.

Responding to the Topic. No I don't see anything 'tacky' or in haste. I guess the proceeds of the sale will be dealt with as per the terms of the Will. The best time to sell that material is now rather than later, in my opinion.
