El Paso mass murder

My factory ordered Kimber had a blemish on the barrel when I disassembled it for initial cleaning. I sent it to Kimber and received it back 7 days later. It was filthy because they test fired it, but it works flawlessly and I think the trigger is lighter. I’m guessing around 4.5 lbs instead of the original 6. I carry IWB in a kydex holster.

I got the 2 tone with Hogue rubber grips. I changed the grips to SGM green and black G-10 grips. My Kahr had Hogue grips and I wanted a different feel. This is my grips on a very similar gun. I have the 7 rd extended magazines.

Only weapon I have owned apart from the one between my legs was a Tikka 22-250 rifle, I think you Americans called that calibre a Varmiter.

I'm sure that it is a much better varmiter than my 10/22.

10/22 cant say I had heard of them but I am not up on guns much these days, a rimfire I see , the 22-250 is a centre fire based originally on the .250 Savage!

Anyway my old 22-250 is now like the old air cooled VW car that keep going forever, it has had almost all parts replaced over the years including numerous barrels and even the receiver all largely due to a lot of range use!

That's our Ruger 10/22. That's the first semi auto rifle that any kid ever gets. It's chambered in .22lr, all parts can be swapped our for aftermarket parts with a million options. You can build a tack driver out of it, but it's still a .22 and will not reach out much more than 100 meters accurately unless you are really good.

I think I like shooting my kid's Henry lever action .22 more.

never used the rifle much after that my heart wasn't really into killing things!

Dad had a rifle and a shotgun. Mum had a 410, given to her by her father when she was 12. I doubt she shot anything. I went "shooting" once with Dad when I was a teenager, he showed me how but all I shot at was a can on a fence post and I missed. I could never kill anything (spiders excluded). I have never even seen a hand gun, except in pictures.

I could never kill anything myself but I am ok with hunting if you eat what you kill and use it all. I am dead against trophy hunting though.

I live on a rural property , and there is always a necessity to keep various groups of animals under control, I got home from work tonight feeling a little harassed and was accosted by , 15 turkeys and around 30 chooks , 7 ducks . the Doris's fucken dog , there is going to be a day of reckoning this weekend . Skinned it with some idea of keeping/treating the skin - never happened though!

Great idea .... give all kids from age 8 a hand gun to protect themselves in SCHOOL. Then, when somebody "bullies" them they can react, immediately.
