Re: US illegals get the bill
Well we did, which is why I thought we would be foolish enough to sign it. Another legacy from Turnbull?
Scott Morrison is following in Donald Trump's footsteps by refusing to sign a non-binding migration agreement which Australia helped draft.
Australian officials have been heavily active in negotiating the wording of the UN Global Compact on Migrant over the past two years.

Different Governments, different policies. The Tories have long been Xenophobic - primarily as a means of robbing the Hansonites of support from wavers. The ALP OTOH, has dabbled with that as well, while the Nationals are just bastards.

Could be; I'm not sure. But I'm always amused to see the lefty interpretation of news events, particularly regarding several Western nations' withdrawal of support for the pact. Here we have a classic example:
https://www.politico.eu/article/united- ... t-trolled/
The first sign that you're reading lefty news is the frequent mention of the [INSERT EVIL MUSIC HERE] "far right." Note that there's never any mention of the "far left," because to lefty reporters, there is no far left -- only a range of reasonable viewpoints on their side of the aisle.
Another thing you can count on is at least one photo of children, which is meant to tug at your heartstrings and convince you that anyone who doesn't support mass migration is heartless.
There's also the old "guilt by association" ploy: Note the claim that "a coalition of anti-Islam, far-right and neo-Nazi sympathizers fueled a surge in social media activity about the pact." Yeah, it's all racists, bigots and haters! Yeah! Yeah!
Finally, notice how the supporters of the pact reveal their true colors with their own quotes: “The idea that politics is being done within national borders has long vanished,” said Maly. “We have to start looking at this in a global perspective."
That's what's so hypocritical here. The same article that accuses opponents of belonging to a multinational conspiracy admits that supporters of the pact transcend borders as well. But that's not a nefarious conspiracy, because they're on the morally correct side of the debate.
Fact is, they're exactly what they say they are: Globalists bent on putting themselves in charge of supernational coalitions so they can increase their own power and profits at the expense of the everyday citizen. Leaders like Angela Merkel are faithful to the globalist cause, which is why she imported a million Muslims into her previously civilized Western nation. It was never about serving her own nation and people; it was about advancing the cause of her fellow globalists. And if Germany's new year celebration turns into a gropefest of German girls and women ... well, they shouldn't have stayed out so late and dressed so provocatively!

What's interesting is that the supporters of the pact keep claiming it was non-binding and didn't really change anything ... yet they're up in arms about it being rejected by several major Western nations.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2019 9:51 amWell we did, which is why I thought we would be foolish enough to sign it. Well, if it was non-binding and didn't really change anything, what difference does it make whether the U.S. and Australia approved it or not?

I was happy when he withdrew the United States from the U.N. Global Compact on Migration. Sovereign Western nations have no obligation to assimilate Third World migrants. If we do anything, we should help them in their own countries.
Of course, what that translated to was the the then Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnball, was very much in the thrall of the Dries in the Tories and couldn't dare to buck against their antediluvian views on Migration.
Help them or helping ourselves to their stuff, Black Orchid? Australia, unlike the US actually has a good reputation in this regard. The US OTOH has a bad one. Just look at Central America, South America, Europe, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc...I also agree that we should be keeping them in their own countries and helping them there.
Just ask native citizens of Sweden and Germany if their countries are better or worse since they threw their gates open to hundreds of thousands of Islamic refugees. For instance: https://www.thelocal.de/20161215/year-a ... ntegration
Hundreds of women that night described running a gauntlet of theft, groping and lewd insults in a crush of mainly Arab and north African men. Other German cities reported similar incidents during their end of year festivities.
Cologne police reports later revealed that of some 1,200 complaints filed about the incidents, over 500 were for sexual assault. Most of the perpetrators were never caught.
Gee, Angela, imagine that ... not every culture treats women as equals! Who knew?
Actually, 2 minutes on the internet would have told you that before you introduced this human virus into your country's bloodstream. And since they'll outbreed native Germans, I'd say your country's future is pretty much screwed.
Germany is not the USA. We integrate them here. We have different systems that actually work. We don't have violent crimes and 66 shootings a day like in the US. The German police shoots 2 people per year. The US police shoots 2,000 people biyearly.

Re: US illegals get the bill
List of killings by police officers in Germany in 2014, the first year when Africans and Arabs invaded:
2014-08-01 / Klaus Haberstroh, 55
A police officer caused a hit-and-run accident under the influence of alkohol, in which the driver of a motorcycle died.
2014-07-25 / Andre, 33
Two plainclothes police officers tried to arrest a convicted cannabis dealer near his flat. The man attempted to flee from the policemen and was shot in the back of the head.
2014-07-11 / N.N., 46
A police officer was shooting inside and around his house. When a SEK raided the house after negotiations failed, there were shot at, returned fire and killed their colleague.
Two deaths by police officer, for a whole year, in because the first one - the police officer was actually under the influence. Like I said, 2-3 deaths per year. While in the U.S., around 700 people were killed by police officers.
How stupid one have to be to deny undeniable facts?...

This is not about police it's about illegals and if Germany has such a great system of integration and it works so well (cough) how about taking a few more million that the west doesn't want. Take them all
