I'm funny about snakes. It's funny cause most people I know shit themselves over spiders, but don't mind snakes. I'm the opposite. If I see a snake on TV I'm guaranteed nightmares the following night. Glad you shot it btw :thumb
Been frightened by the odd trouser snake in your time have you :hot
How did I know you were gonna say something like that? :rofl
If nothing else im reliable :f
And predictable

But yes, my phobia towards snakes is often joked about because of my love for the pussy.

lol. I have never seen a snake in the flesh,,

You're lucky. I have seen several.

Had a sea snake swim close at Cable Beach in Broome. (funnily enough there's a nude beach further up from there but it's all fat middle aged guys. No wonder I turned queer, lol)

Almost stepped on one slithering beneath a pile of leaves. Sly bastard.

Then the best part.. One was in my bedroom shortly after I moved house. Back in my younger years.

My youngest almost stepped on a rattlesnake a couple of years ago. It rattled and he kept moving.

I've seen about half a dozen dead snakes when I was in the Army on exercise. I've also nearly stood on one during a NAVEX (Navigation Exercise) where I was leading a single file of diggers on a bearing, across country. I just felt something was wrong and glanced down and saw I was about to step on a Brown Snake, sunning itself. I called out, "Snake!" Took five paces to the right, walked on five or ten paces and then took five paces to the left. All the diggers behind me did exactly the same thing. Luckily the snake was torpid and ignored us as it was a cool day. Brown Snakes are quite aggressive normally and will attack and even chase anything that annoys them. They are very venomous with their young able to kill a grown man only a few days after hatching. They are also very common across a large part of Australia.

I had to deal with quite a few snakes when we lived on acres. Usually large red bellys and browns when they decided they wanted to make themselves at home in the yard or in the house.

Funnel Webs too. Nasty things they are. I used to catch them and then the University would come and collect them for their venom.

I am glad those days are over.
