Re: Aboriginal Australia
That will be the sacred ground of the future.
All the shells they go on about being sacred ground
Is simply a tip,
Too lazy to even dig a damn hole, they just sit and throw the shells in a circle around themselves.
They wouldn't notice the stench, being as they woukd have stunk anyway.
This sacred ground Is all bull shite.
When are we going to wake up to this rubbish?
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

I agree with that. Where does Neferti get what she posted?Raven wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 12:25 pmFree university, free housing, free cars, more money on Centrelink and no reporting obligations, or there are reporting obligations but Centrelink won't discontinue payments. Raven's personal favourite is the free jet ski and free domestic flights.
There is not a single shred of evidence to back up these claims and when you ask for evidence it is either a government conspiracy that is covering up all the free stuff they get (Centrelink just won't advertise the stuff they give aboriginals) or "But I've seen it for myself" or "A friend of mine knew an Aboriginal who got all this free stuff." Of course eye witness testimony is the least reliable form of evidence and is often clouded by the perceptions one holds.
This is just a part of the reason why true reconciliation is so hard in this country. These perceptions cloud the minds of many. For over 200 years we've been telling Aboriginal people that they are not good enough. When our ancestors arrived we denied their culture, denied their worth and their sense of self. We told them through our words and actions that they are not good enough, we told them that they have to assimilate into our culture then promptly went about segregating them as much as possible.
Today we resist reconciliation by holding on to the myths. And if there is a successful Aboriginal in this country in a field other then sport, we raise an eyebrow. "Well they only got there because of free uni." "I wonder how many white people lost out so that company can meet their quota?"
But as long as they keep their mouth shut we are happy with them for the most part. But the minute they open their mouth to start a conversation about racism in this country we loose our fucking minds. We crucify them as hard as we can for this perceived assault on White Australia. This is another reason why reconciliation in this country is so hard. As long as we are unable to have a mature debate on race in this country we will continue to go around in circles.

It’s called ‘inter generational trauma’, billy. Caused to some extent by whitey.billy the kid wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 5:33 pmThe place is a shithole...and the people behave like a bunch of apes.....Raven wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 5:30 pmAnd that has what to do with land development??billy the kid wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 5:28 pmPerhaps you should talk to some of the Police that have served there and judge what has been "achieved"......Raven wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 5:15 pmLike what though?
They seem to have everything they need on a community. They have a school, a retail store, Doomadgee Rural Hospital, a post office, police station, airport. They even have a music studio.
They are starting infrastructure projects aimed at an upgrade to the water dosing and monitoring systems and a risk assessment of one of their reservoirs as announced by the State government in 2017.
In 2006 Aboriginal Development Benefit Trust (ADBT) and the Doomadgee Shire Council invested in the Doomadgee Roadhouse, a 100% Aboriginal owned business. The ADBT invested $1.5 million to establish the Doomadgee Roadhouse. The Doomadgee Shire Council contributed $300,000 for fuel infrastructure. Although they contributed cash to the project the Shire is not a partner. It employs 14 staff, 12 of whom are Aboriginal.
They've invested in accommodations for tourists in the form of one-bedroom kitchenettes with ensuite.
What more should they do?
