Just to clarify .... Bodyguard is a recent British TV Series that Netflix have shown. It is NOT the movie. Cods, torrenting is P2P (peer to peer) sites where you can download what you want. Movies, tv shows or anything else. I download a lot of stuff, mainly movies, but also shows I like that we don't get here and/or I want to see them long before they are shown here. Idiot stations here often split a season in half and make us wait 6 months for the rest and then tout it as a 'new' season, which it isn't.
There are also sites online where you can stream what you want ie you can watch it on your computer.
ADDENDUM: Don't forget to try Outlander it might be right up your alley!

HDTC is pretty decent. Don't expect wonders from the audio stream, though. I'll rewatch it again when it comes on BluRay. I'm uploading it now to a Cloud and gonna share the link in a few minutes.

The Popcorn is fine, but they prekalyavat with their ads all the time, and ads about VPNs and how secure you should be, and how dangerous torrenting is. The peers there are also pretty slow sometimes. Maybe some fucking yanks or asians are now and then the aggregation of all the peers.

No problem. Popcorn Time is apparently good for showing brand new movies (only airing in cinemas) too.Neferti~ wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 8:23 amThanks for that. Here is the link to Popcorn-Time where you can download it. Install it and then have a browse about the Movies, TV Series or whatever. You can add the ones you like to your Favourites (the little heart thing on the top right of the screen) and also sort by Genre and Title to make it easier to find what you want.
I got a message from AVG (virus protection program) while I was downloading/watching something that it (AVG) would make sure I wasn't "interrupted" by any other program while doing so. Obviously, AVG reckons Popcorn-Time is AOK.

Hey cods torrenting has been around a long time, longer than Netflix and other streaming services. Basically, you are just downloading files of TV series, movies, etc. Not just those, but you can also download other stuff like computer programs, eBooks, music. I apologize, after rereading that Wiki article it doesn't make a bunch of sense if you don't know too much about it.cods wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 8:21 amstrewth thats a whole new language to me...
I think you people are so clever..
how you keep up is a complete mystery to me...it really is like rocket science....
I was born about 30 years too early I am thinking...
I dont think my brain could cope with all that is going on now..
I will try to watch the netfix and free to air and just be satisfied with that....
the future scares the hell out of me....thats for sure.
my daughter drives a car without a key.... no way....
I will warn you it isn't entirely safe so if you go that route, be careful. Scan the files with your anti virus. Even then it can still be risky. I have lost many good computers to that shit. I stopped all that when our Grubberment changed the laws. Too many people watching Game of Thrones for free

Re: NETFLIX...
That's bloody pointless, scanning files. All games and software will have some sort of a crack, and every antivirus will detect that. Even my activator for my Windows gets detected as a virus. The Reboot wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 12:48 pmHey cods torrenting has been around a long time, longer than Netflix and other streaming services. I used Popcorn Time for awhile but you need to be aware that when you watch something on PT it also downloads it to your computer. If you have heaps of room, fine, but if you don't you need to find the file and delete them as they soon add up and take up HDD space.
If I do want to watch something on the computer I use streaming sites now.
