how about a great big rottweiler bobby or 3?
Dogs require a lot of work and money.
and this doesnt?
It would be better to have high security to start off with -
bars on windows, doors I can't be kicked in -
including security mesh doors.
Some people have a locked metal cage in front of their door.
You have to get inside that cage before you can even knock on the door.
I knew someone who had 9 locks on their doors,,,,,I couldnt live like that and I wouldnt want to encourage we become a nation AFRAID of our own shadow...
the paranoid carry guns they forget the person they are afraid of is also paranoid and carries a gun...
if you let them they will bow you down until they have us all locked behind steel walls...and locks and bolts...
I agree, I will not give in to these creeps.
Until I'm too old to seriously hurt attackers ( and my old man was still quite capable at 75)
I will live without fear.
My home has knives hidden in numerous places.
Each one is stupidly sharp.
18 years of martial arts and knife training makes me a little more than a victim.
However, with the new nanny state mentality
I can no longer carry a true fighting knife
Instead, I carry a cane, which I can also use very effectively.
I also carry a metal torch, 8 inches long at night.
We trained with a short broom stick 8 inches long and you would be surprised how much damage you can do with it.
But in my home, it's knives
I will eviscerate them without hesitation should they break in.
I'm an old man with an old wife.
We feared for our lives.
I grabbed the first thing I could find and just lashed out.
They can take that to court
But expect a very public trial about and old couple being attacked.
I have never been afraid in my life
And I'm not starting now.
Bring em on.
