I haven't experienced violent crime personally but times have changed. The demographic of Sydney has changed beyond recognition. I have 2 sons and both have had friends who have been the victim of violent crime.

It's very different to the Sydney I grew up in.

Right at the time I was doing a lot of clubbing was when Lebbo crime in Sydney was unchecked and out of control. I knew a lot of people who were badly assaulted, and we'd always pick our venues by which places had the least Lebbos.

The Lebs are still a problem it's just a different branch of them now.

We just shorten everything. Just expand on what the start of the word sounds like it should be and you'll be right. i.e. arvo = afternoon.
