Hi Cods,
You don't have to worry -

there will never be any hangings in this
limp wristed do-gooder country.

Even mass murderers will get a decent life in jail.
The Prisons even throw birthday parties for them with Fizzy Drinks and Pizza.
Do they get balloons and Pass the Parcel too? :rofl
I kid you not
Questions are being raised about whether prison inmates should be allowed to hold celebrations while they are serving their sentences after Tony Mokbel was viciously stabbed inside the walls of Barwon Prison.

The 53-year-old drug kingpin's condition is improving after he was allegedly attacked while walking past a group of inmates holding a 21st birthday party on Monday afternoon.

He was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries but later deteriorated and was placed on the critical list.

Yesterday doctors said his condition was improving and he was now in a serious condition.

Police Minister Lisa Neville says the investigation into the incident will include an examination of prison protocols.

There are 3 Prisons out the North side of Lara - Barwon is MAXIMUM for the baddest criminals in Victoria.

And they are having birthday parties with Fizzy Drinks and Pizza?

What a joke!

I have done some work out at the Prisons recently - you can go to the Minimum or Medium Security Prisons ok - but drive into Barwon and you have a full time security guard sitting in a car somewhere in the car park “watching”

“Always Watching”

You’ll never see him in the same place twice.

Yes - I watched that and a longer version on Youtube.
Pell seemed very genuine in claiming false allegations.

the problem with police interviews is you can only answer what question they choose to ask....

we are talking about a man who has reached the pinnacle of his lifes work...

whos work was to protect all gods children....and no matter what comes from any appeal...

he will never recover...

its public its damning

if its true its appalling

if its not true its even worse...

It's a terrible situation if he's innocent.
He could be paying the penalty for other peoples sex crimes.
The Catholic church is considered by many to be a criminal organisation.
I have found the Catholic church was always very kind to me in my dealings with them -
I did some work as a contractor with them once
and the people there were some of the nicest people I've ever met.
I feel very sorry for any innocent well meaning people drawn into this whole saga.

well at last you are saying as you find...

which is exactly what Abbott and Howard has said... speak as you find..

to read what some people have said....probably by people who have never had any dealing with the Catholic Church let alone Pell himself....

you would think they had all reported their own case to the Royal Comm.....

we havent even heard who the alleged victim is.......

what happens next do we know?>...will he have another trial if his appeal is upheld?...

Effectively, an appeal is another trial - all the evidence is looked at, afresh by several judges. There is no jury involved. They look at it purely on points of law, nothing more. If his appeal is successful, he is then usually set free, unless of course the Prosecution appeals against his release - an unusual but not unheard of circumstance.
