My, "ilk"? Oh, dearie, dearie, me, Black Orchid, how could you? Poor, poor, me.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 5:18 pmBrian stop trying to insert your own interpretation into what is typed. It's not ambiguous nor is it hatred. I prefer young children to be EDUCATED rather than confused with the gender fluidity and bias your ilk expound. There is plenty of time for them to figure that out later.brian ross wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 5:07 pmAs long as parents fail to teach proper socialisation, the education system will be expected to step in, Black Orchid.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 3:27 pmThat all you've got Brian? Pretty sure those inmates you keep speaking of are your fellow residents at the asylum. The ones who like to see young boys in dresses rather than learning the 3 r's.
Send your blame and hatred to your fellow Australians, not to the educators who are answering calls to teach how to treat one another.
Unless of course you like the idea of hatred, bigotry and violence being taught to children? Mmmm?
If your solution for our educational woes is to dress boys in dresses good for you! I hear the nurse calling.
In reality, my "ilk" recognises that society is changing and changing rapidly around us. What you hold dear is of les consequence today than it was 30 years ago. Today, some kids are "gender fluid" in their attitudes and their desires. They deserve to be treated as well as the other kids and by the other kids and society. A fact of life. Time you caught up with the rest of society and recognised it. We have seen society moving more and more to a recognition that being Gay, transgender and so on is normal. Not everybody has to do it or become it, they just have to recognise that those people as just as human as are all other humans. Something religious leaders are finding debated around them.
The three R's are important but as I have said, as long as parents fail dismally to teach their kids how to treat each other and other people, the Education system will be called upon to step in and do the job. You don't like the job? Then vote against it. Me? I don't care. My kids have all long finished school and I am satisfied with the result. Between the Education system(s) and myself, my kids have turned out alright. The kids of tomorrow, I don't doubt will turn out alright, after a few corners have been knocked off of them.
You're welcome to keep on having a giant tizzy if you want. Unless you either train as a teacher and work in the Public School System or become a Politician and work against these things, they will not change. It is amusing watching you wasting your time though. Keep up the good work at being the clown for us all, OK?
