There is virtually nowhere in Sydney you can wander around without some chance of attack.
That's not true. Certain areas of Sydney are unsafe due to the demographic therein but to say that all of Sydney is unsafe is not true. It may be true eventually though as the cancer spreads.

In China, you can wander around everywhere, at any time and have absolutely no fear of attack.
Also certainly not true. I have many friends who work in China and they would absolutely disagree with you. I find it hard to understand why you think China is so wonderful and idyllic. It's not.

I lived in Sydney for 30 years
I know most of Sydney
Apart from the northern suburbs, I would not wander the streets at night anywhere else.
And the worst areas are those in which muzzos, abbos, and new Zealander live.

China, at least the parts of China in which I lived was much safer.
Shanghai, Beijing, and many of the smaller village areas were very safe, with the exception of the roads, all roads in China are suicidal..

Sydney itself is desperately bad on weekends.
It's a hole that needs to be wiped off the face of the earth.

He probably presses "submit" and nothing happens so
he presses submit again.
It's a common problem throughout the internet forum world.

A man has been arrested and is being investigated by the police unit responsible for targeting would-be lone wolf extremists after an incident in the centre of Parramatta on Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to Church Street about 10.20am following reports a man had threatened two people with a knife after attempting to set fire to a car.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were on scene within minutes and arrested the 20-year-old man.

No one was injured and there are no ongoing concerns for public safety, police said in a statement.

Church Street was closed in both directions near Campbell Street until mid-afternoon as police investigated.

The incident is now being investigated by officers from the Fixated Persons Investigation Unit, which was launched in April last year as one of the first initiatives of NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller.

The unit performs risk assessments on so-called lone actors or unstable people who are seemingly fixated on issues or individuals, but are not considered persons of interest for counter-terrorism police.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said it was too early at this stage to establish any possible motive or determine whether mental health was a factor in the incident.

No charges have been laid but the man remains in police custody, she said.

The incident appears to bear some resemblance to the recent car fire and stabbing attack carried out by a lone wolf in Melbourne's Bourke Street Mall.
Now we have yet another task force/investigation unit to try to keep up with these nutters.

In the good old days nutcases were just locked up in asylums.

They still should be!

In Melbourne they had Larundle but it was closed:
http://www.thebohemianblog.com/2013/02/ ... sylum.html

There was also Heatherton psychiatric hospital too.

The people in them were thrown out on the street.
look here:

they were all closed.

Now nutcases roam the street: murdering, robbing, bashing and looting.
