There is virtually nowhere in Sydney you can wander around without some chance of attack.
That's not true. Certain areas of Sydney are unsafe due to the demographic therein but to say that all of Sydney is unsafe is not true. It may be true eventually though as the cancer spreads.

In China, you can wander around everywhere, at any time and have absolutely no fear of attack.
Also certainly not true. I have many friends who work in China and they would absolutely disagree with you. I find it hard to understand why you think China is so wonderful and idyllic. It's not.
I lived in Sydney for 30 years
I know most of Sydney
Apart from the northern suburbs, I would not wander the streets at night anywhere else.
And the worst areas are those in which muzzos, abbos, and new Zealander live.
China, at least the parts of China in which I lived was much safer.
Shanghai, Beijing, and many of the smaller village areas were very safe, with the exception of the roads, all roads in China are suicidal..
Sydney itself is desperately bad on weekends.
It's a hole that needs to be wiped off the face of the earth.
