No Brian I centre my attention to exactly where these outbreaks are occurring and that is not racist. Swinging the politically correct banner when people's health and/or lives are at risk is outrageously stupid.

What next? Outbreaks of Bird Flu and worse being brought here from China and parts of south east Asia and you lot gag the media for alerting tourists because you think it might be racist?

Don't be stupid Brian. Be sensible.

At least you admitted you were wrong, Brian, well done.
I am always willing to admit that I am wrong when I am proved to be wrong, Black Orchid. Something some people here need to learn.
We have eradicated many diseases and reduced others to being extremely rare yet many are now growing again in significance and mainly in highly populated asian areas/schools/communities. We often get health warnings about Tuberculosis as well as Measles.

This is not Xenophobia. It is FACT.

It is Xenophobia because it centres your attention people because of their "Race" or ethnicity rather than their health, Black Orchid. Diseases don't respect people because of their supposed superiority accord to their origins.

If I had said these outbreaks were occurring in white Catholic girls schools Brian's response would be totally different. Progressives prefer to deflect and deceive by way of a 'politically correct' agenda that tries to stifle and prohibit the truth if any specific issues are prevalent in certain ethnic communities.

FACT is these outbreaks are occurring in Chinese schools and communities.

What I want to see is a concentration of health resources where they are needed, not where you perceive they are needed, Black Orchid. If that is "political correctness" in your view then I feel rather sorry for you. You believe they should be concentrated on certain communities because who lives in them. I don't. I believe they should be concentrated where people with disease(s) live.

What the hell are you talking about Brian? Stop trying to shift goal posts and deflecting and changing what was actually being said.

What part of my saying that Measles and Tuberculosis outbreaks are occurring in certain areas was hard to comprehend? You're not even making sense.

I am not sure if you are saying that health resources should not be concentrated in the communities I mentioned, where these outbreaks are occurring, or whether they should be. Don't speak for me as I said neither. Stop twisting things Brian to try to fit your 'racist' agenda. Again ... square peg, round hole.

Try reading what is written instead of twisting it out of shape.

Do carry on though :b

What was hard was your decision to identify those locations not by the diseases being present but by the "Race" of the inhabitants, Black Orchid. Tut, tut, no you're not a Racist are you?

What was sensible in identifying those locations was that we get an idea where the diseases are originating which will help protect the children of anti-vaxxers and such by avoiding said locations.

You seem to want disease to spread and children to suffer by not identifying the source because of some ridiculous 'politically correct' viewpoint. That's not only stupid it is dangerous.

If Tuberculosis and Measles are breaking our regularly in Chinese (or other) communities the sensible thing to do would be to pinpoint that and set up a plan to contain it and to make sure that ALL immigrants and visitors to Australia have current vaccinations.

There is no point in promoting vaccination to eradicate certain diseases when we let hundreds of thousands of people into our communities each year who are not vaccinated and come from countries which have a high rate of disease that we have not seen here for decades.

Your haste to wave the 'racist' flag is not only dangerous it is unbelievably stupid.

Vaccination is part of their resettlement program as migrants, Black Orchid. If they cannot prove they have been vaccinated, they get the jab. Simples really. I am unsure why you keep assuming the worse about people.
