Had a bit of a drive down Fleurieu Peninsula yesterday. Was sunny when we started but by the time we arrived in Yankalilla:
Rain
No surprises then that the Yankalilla 'River' was running:

Driving on along the coast there is this high, steep hill. Have seen parachutists (base jumpers?) & paragliders launch from the top:

Down the coast from Yankers is the hamlet of Delamere. While the others stuffed their faces with junk food in the Trading Post/Post Office/Service Station I walked down the road to the cute but increasingly decrepit church there:

I love browsing the headstones. Look at this lady, living for a blissful 47 years after hubby carked it:
Not fair!
Some convey a pathetic message:
Pathetic
Delamere is fairly old, as you can see from this headstone:
Old grave.
Turning inland and heading to Victor Harbor along the top of a ridge some great vistas present themselves:

Of course, in a couple of months that will all be dead and brown so glad we did decide to drive down the Penisula.
