A lot of asylum seekers do travel here by plane. For a lot, esp those fleeing their own govt it isn't possible--no papers no visa so no plane trip. And the RWDBs make it seem so easy, arrive then get on a boat and sail to Australia. Fucking boat is unreliable, leaking and more than one sinks with the drowning death of all on board.

The other thing I love is the "orderly queues" in refugee camps. Don't exist. Sorry.

The Canadian was an illegal according to the LAW! Just because you thought he was a nice bloke and paid GST on what he bought doesn't mean he was entitled to remain here as a lawful citizen. We have Immigration laws for this sort of person who thinks that because they have the money to fly here means they can stay.

IF Australia let in people YOU like, imagine the problems? Immigration doesn't work that way. The RULES apply to everyone seeking to come here. Whether you happen to like them or not is irrelivant.

Maybe you should go back "home" to the Netherlands and see how much they like you, now that you have aged a bit?

A VISA has a time limit. Staying in the Country after the Visa runs out definitely makes you an "illegal" according to the Law.
