Re: Bush vs Clinton
Republican president Theodore Roosevelt took them on with his Square Deal. Democratic president Franklin Roosevelt took them on with his New Deal. I could see Warren doing something along those lines.IQS.RLOW wrote:Take them on to what end?AiA in Atlanta wrote:Jebbie and Hillary are both corporate candidates who can raise the needed money. Warren is a far left socialist.
No wonder you like her.

Comparing warren to Roosevelt and Roosevelt is ridiculous. She has achieved nothing in any of her political roles.

Supremely qualified to be POTUS then....AiA in Atlanta wrote:She has only been a senator for a couple of years.DrMattus wrote:Comparing warren to Roosevelt and Roosevelt is ridiculous. She has achieved nothing in any of her political roles.
In measuring the failure of here political career I include her oversight of TARP and other responsibilities, in which she achieved only a public profile for herself and no actual reform. Don't get me wrong, she's a smart person; perhaps the best professor of bankruptcy there has ever been. But, like so many academics, she's utterly ineffective in management, politics and leadership. Which is probably why she was given TARP in the first place.

Elizabeth Warren is getting rather old, 65! Isn't Hillary 67? Is that the usual age for the President? Jeb Bush is 61.

Wall Street financial reform is being dismantled piece by piece. Who is going to stop it? Jebbie or Hillary? Hardly.

Jebbie won't have real Tea Party support because he is too liberal for them. And he is an insider ... completely.
