They're suggesting 10 thousand dead... and you're talking up how bad this reactor is damaged, and how it's inevitable that the whole area is going to be a nuclear wasteland, without having the first clue what has gone on (few people would at this stage)

I'm hoping for goules like mantra and hoppy to get a facefull of egg, myself.

The 10,000 suspected dead is as a result of the Tsunami and has no bearing on the nuke dramas whatsoever, and am yet to see anyone imply otherwise.

Care to illustrate where exactly I have 'talked up' anything concering this incident?

I mentioned it - in a sentence next to the explosion, although it wasn't related - so it probably looked a little ambiguous. The whole meltdown scenario is being understated though - that much is obvious.

No there not. it is japan wearing egg because they dared to place nuke plants on a hyperactive fault line. It is against the conventions in place and there is talk that they will be questioned on it.

Your grammar, and punctuation sucks. Why is it that most times you are on song, and on others you post like a sot?

Oh, so now we get all cute after the event do we? If it was against these alleged 'conventions,' why was there no questioning prior to this week? I swear I never saw one post on the subject by you, Skunk.

Because sometimes I could be bothered to edit and at other times I'm answering the phone or cooking or what ever so rush to the end and hit submit. When rushed I type at more than 100 words per min... with an increased error rate as you have noticed.

Last Friday there were no threads on the Nippon crisis. I assumed we were all in awe of the magnitude of the tragedy which is still unfolding. Otherwise, I'm pro nuke energy so have no reason to engage anti nuke fear mongers.

You will have to ask Japan why they have not questioned the location of their nuke plants Ned. Possibly it has to do with the conflict of interests and/or communication dissemination issues between the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy within the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, NISA who reports to them and the Atomic Energy Commission who is supposed to oversea the whole approval process.

You are obviously still 'rushing,' Skunk. Now, the spelling has gone to custard.

Back to the point. You say you are pro nuclear power, and that because you are 'pro,' you keep secret these alleged 'conventions?'

:o

Where may I find these alleged 'conventions?'

I said that I don't engage in debate with anti nuke fear mongers.

Try the Nippon Atomic Energy Commission... or for analysis on the matter refer to STRATFOR: Global Intelligence.
