We get a cup of tea and a biscuit when we donate blood.

Same here, except we get fruit juice or Gatorade.

Fair enough.
I don't think we have a Covid anti-body test available in Australia.
A hospital I asked didn't have anything last November.
We don't as far as I know and we SHOULD!
Of course we should.
Where did all the 10s of $billions of Covid money go?

Other than when I when I was sick, I haven't missed a day of work. I have eaten out almost daily and stayed in dozens of hotels. I only wear a mask in church, hospitals, or when work makes me. If store owners demand I wear one I take my business elsewhere and try to shop local business as much as possible.

I've had it nice here. Texas was only locked down for 6 weeks and the mask mandates weren't enforceable because it was a governor's order and not a law. I still respect private property rights and business can demand what they want.
You also got Covid twice?
No. I've had 2 surgeries in the past year, but neither was covid related. Just once in late July 2020. I still have the antibodies for covid. I test for them every month. I've always been of the mind that we need to protect our vulnerable and everybody else live with the level of caution that you want. If you want to lock yourself home or wear a mask all the time, that's your call. We won't ever get past this fiasco if we all cower in our homes and wait for the government to tell us how to live our lives. That invites even bigger problems.

I donate plasma at a local blood bank. They screen all donations for covid antibodies and they have recruited me to donate specifically because of my antibodies. I could probably sell my plasma for $150/month, but I've donated whole blood at this place for almost 40 years and it's for a good cause. Besides, I don't have to deal with the bums selling their plasma for beer money. They do give me a t-shirt every time I donate and they usually give me a $20 Uber card or something of that nature. Also, by giving at Carter Bloodcare, if I or anybody in my family need a transfusion there is no charge. I've given gallons.

Just talking about blood makes me want to faint.

My dad gets dizzy when he sees much blood. He won't watch gory movies. He seemed to deal with it well in real life though when he was working. He has patched up his work crew or got them to a hospital after cutting themselves with saws and shooting themselves with nail guns.

Where did the money go? It was spent on corporate welfare.
Cant be tracked or traced, however, due to a lack of an accounting structure.
