Re: Betting on the election
Clive says he's going to win the election:

'Why do you think we're standing in 151 seats across this nation.
Because we intend to win.
But Mr Palmer, 65, said his party was actually far more popular than that during a heated interview on Channel Nine's Today on Monday morning.
'That is just fake news of course. We are polling much higher than that. And there is 28 per cent of Australians that have yet to make their decision,' he said.

Well, here in the ACT, I won't have much choice as preferences go as to which party I will put last. ALP? Greens? Australia Progressives? I haven't checked the line up for the Senate yet, but "traditionally" Canberra with only 2 Senators usually vote 1 ALP and 1 Liberal.Bobby wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:00 pmClive says he's going to win the election:

Yes - I think he's insane - he has delusions of grandeur.
He's needs medication.
Yes Neferti - he's morbidly obese -
if he was in touch with reality he'd be doing something about his weight
and not trying to pretend he was the next PM.

I blame "compulsory" voting (yes, Bwian, we ALL know that ). Most people care less and only vote because they could be fined (still only $20 in a Federal Election, differs in State Elections).billy the kid wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:12 pmAbout as delusional as some of the voters interviewed by television reporters today, who, by simply opening their mouthsBobby wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:09 pmbilly the kid wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:04 pm

Why do you think the likes of Bullshit Bill is announcing billions of dollars of OUR taxpayers money for just about everything?
Lots of people only watch The Evening News for the weather and sports results. Hip pocket effect with the ads ... "wow, Bill is offering FREE dental" must vote for him" types. NOTHING is FREE ... to pay for all this, Bullshit Bill has to sell something, perhaps, or borrow more money from China, or something. Perhaps he is just being a fuckwit, thought he had the PM-ship in the bag and suddenly finds that is not the case. He is looking pathetic.
