skippy - if he was costing me $ - HECK YES !!!!!!!!!

A good PM makes us bettter off and furthers our international image, a bad one puts us in debt for trinkets and has the words "Sovereign risk" beside our name.

Fact is, the maths is out,(re- what they claim her salary will be after the raise) they are lying AGAIN!

She was who professed her desire to be more transparent, what happened?

Furthermore, does Julia Gillard deserve a Million dollar wage after having stuffed our country and been incredibly dishonest?

Sprints right, she's a sovereign risk.

My son having not long returned from New Zealand advises they have a thing called a "Guy Fawkes festival "

He will be flying back over for this event.

Wouldn't it be nice if we celebrated this here in Australia.

Australia always had Guy Fawkes night (5th November) with bonfires until the mid 80's. Hawke cancelled it. Blame Labor.

It was probably cancelled due to Fire Restrictions. I can't remember, exactly. Usually, I think, Fire Restrictions begin at the end of October.

However, I do remember going to a Bonfire party in the mid 80's. If you missed out on Guy Fawkes night, perhaps you were just too young to remember? 1986 IS 25 years ago. :rofl

It's anti-communist bonfire night --- Of course Labor banned it.

Then Kevin Rudd set about ensuring Fireworks were banned altogether whereby Australians are no longer even permitted to obtain a permit to set them off safely on fire-cracker night.

Australians are industrious, this and can make their own fire crackers anyway.

Does Juliar Gillards carbon-tax uphold the virtues of a true democracy?

Though how Ironic, that Labor should give themselves a pay-rise on the 5th of November 2010.

In the case of Gillard, a 160% pay rise.

And now she wants another....then another....and another.

:c......

Thanks giving?

For giving us this... 2007
