No, the results indicated that only 62,984,828 (46.1%) voted for Trump. 65,853,514 (48.2%) voted for Hilary. A non-vote is a non-vote and cannot be accord to either side, Black Orchid and to do so is disingenuous of you. a vote for neither candidate is not for either candidate. Remember, America as a simplistic first-past-the-post voting system with no preferences being recorded. Hillary still recorded more votes than Trump.

I have grasped what you are trying to do, Black Orchid, rather well. You are attempting some sleight-of-hand to diminish what Hilary Clinton did in 2016. She beat Trump (and all other candidates) in the election with the votes she received. Only through your false logic that more people voted against her than for her do you manage to that. Under the US Presidential voting system of first-past-the-post Hilary received the greatest number of votes. That is all that matters in the popular election of 2016.
