Gillard's employer at the time of the fraud, Left wing law firm Slater & Gordon, apparently didn't think she was 'young and naive' when they offered her a partnership.

Gillard says she resigned from Slater & Gordon (after the claims of fraud surfaced). Peter Gordon claims he promptly sacked her when he discovered the fraud.

Gillard set up accounts to which extorted funds were diverted. Gillard was allegedly a part beneficiary of these funds. It is indeed curious that Slater & Gordon assisted in the dispersal of those funds.

The accounts operated by Wilson and fellow fraudster, Ralph Blewitt, have been described by an AWU executive as 'unauthorised', 'invalid', 'irregular' and used for 'possibly illegal purposes'. There were 13 accounts in all and none was to the favour of the AWU. They simply had misleading AWU-like denominations.

It has been predicted that many of the disgruntled Labor supporters will vote for the Greens. Gillard unfortunately isn't very efficient, nor is she a good decision maker and Labor will have to change leaders if they want a fighting chance. Abbott is talking about reintroducing Workchoices again. That will scare some potential Liberal voters.

As far as Gillard allegedly aiding and abetting some criminal client/boyfriend - all solicitors are the same. They'll work for anyone who pays them enough and follow their instructions, no matter how dodgy. All professional criminals have solicitors who do their bidding.

Greens vote down to 10% (Essential Research) and I think it still has a way to fall—their attitude to letting ASs drown has upset many decent people who may have been leaning towards the Greens a bit. Milne better start acting like the Leader of a real Party because there are only so many Alice in Wonderland voters around.
