Why do you think they are coming by boat and not by plane?

Given that 76% percent of asylum seekers come by air, I'd say your pretty sweet on illegal immigrants. Maybe you should join he greens.

I think you guys need to distinguish between asylum seekers and economic refugees.
Surely most boat people are the later rather than the former in reality.

Perhaps because 70% of air arrival asylum claims are rejected, while only 20% of boat arrival asylum claims are rejected?

Because they ditch their papers to make tracking them, their stories and their asylum claims very difficult to disprove and almost impossible to repatriate

These are economic illegal immigrants.
