Why do the Greens insist on luring people to their deaths?
Its plainly obvious that the Greens care more about their ideology than peoples lives.
Why wont the Green compromise but expect every other party to do so when they are the ones in cahoots with Liebor?
Death dealing hypocrites

Actually, it's been the coalition who has been spouting off the most, about how "our borders are open" and how the "welcome mat" is out.
Tony wants them to come, wants them to die, wants them to make headlines.
And then doesn't want to "play politics" on the day (leave that for tomorrow, or the next day, when it wouldn't be obviously crass).
WINNING

The coalition are the ones that are out of the "loop" so to speak
Its up to liebor and their green buddies to stop the dying but funnily enough, the Greens seem to like people drowning

Tony only makes the headlines because of a shitful GALP...if they were able to manage a problem for once in their lives then they wouldnt be able to give Tony any ammo. Pointing out shitty govt policies is not a crime and should be encouraged
Except if youre a lefty and would prefer it all swept under the carpet
Shame you cant recognise that through you lefty bias

It is a disgrace. Worse yet is the fact that the government is undermining our national security by allowing this to go on.
There was bipartisan consensus on boat people for many decades. But a few years ago, a Labor Opposition desperately seeking a wedge issue to hurt the Howard government, turned it into a shitfight. Since then, hundreds have died - and Australia is seen as a foolish country that will take in anyone who arrives with no documentation but a a sob story.

Here in Europe I hear quite often how Australias imigration policy is the envy of most countries.
The UK is following Australia in adopting radical ideas like a points system to be eligable to emigrate, quottas and even a language test. The trouble is it is too close to Europe and anyone with a dingy can make it here.
Being part of the EU makes it a bloody joke.
If you enter the UK now... fight the system long enough so it takes years of delays to get to the point to deport you all you have to do is have built a family, go to the EU court and you cannot be deported because it is against your basic human right to a "family life". One guy in Europe (not sure if it was UK) got his appeal upheld because he has a cat... yes a bloody cat... and that was enough to constitute a family and to deport him would deprive him of it. I kid you not.
Australia.... as a few problems but it is nothing like other places.
The government is mistaken if it weakens the message to the world that "Australia is a tough place to get into". The show about the Australia's Border Immigration gets a mention regularly in conversation and really help sell Australia as a no nonsense place to get into if you're doggie.

Why do the Greens insist on luring refugees to their deaths?
Because they think by white-washing their own political agenda and appealing to those sympathetic to refugee drownings they will score bob-browny points (aka votes) this and truly believe voters will forget how it was these refugees come to their watery graves to begin with.
See, our biased 'leftard' media is focusing more on the outcome (ie poor drowned refugees) than the actual actions/policies (the dismantling of former Howard government policies also) which have caused this tragedy to begin with and are playing/exploiting the highly emotive "dead-refugee card" because it strikes a chord with ignorant albeit sympathetic voters, and looks sensational on the front page. Dont it..

Ie....
And so they think ......Australian voters (particularly the ill-informed, sappy-eyed, refugee-soft) are stupid enough to swallow it, hook, line and sinker again next election.
They can think again.

This government claims it wants offshore processing. It can have it now. It just has to agree to only process people in a country that has signed up to the un charter for human rights. Malaysia has not. As it has not it should not even be considered. We would be breaching our responsibilities under the treaty that we have signed.
The current govt is being dogmatic. It is right that the current opposition holds them to account on this desire to put people into a worse position.
Oh and BTW Rob Oakshott is a c u n t.
