Run Rabbit Run set to Benny Hill music:

Abbott’s funeral dirge.

ALP PV 32% and 33% according to latest two polls. Do keep up, there’s a good idiot. More money to be handed out, another interest rate cut, possibly another 50bp next Tue. Those polls only going to improve. Abbott’s scare campaign comes crashing to earth 1/7.

I think Abbott will be gone as LOTO by end August. Thought that even before Run Rabbit Run.

Only a moron like yourself would be hoping for an economy down the gurgler to give this hopeless govt even more of an excuse to waste cash to try and shore up their vote

Today’s face-to-face Morgan Poll shows the L-NP primary vote is 49% (up 3.5%) well ahead of the ALP 27.5% (down 4.5%). Support for the minor parties shows the Greens 13% (up 2.5%) and Independents/ Others 10.5% (down 1.5%).
Suck it you Liebor faggot...enjoy your 27.5%

Morgan? Face to face? sample size well under 1000?

Guess you will take comfort where you can find it. But Morgan? You know the Libs are on the slippery path downhill.

Try not to hit the codeine and booze too hard when even you can’t deny the trend.

Morgan Face to Face FFS!

Abbott’s Dash for Exit called like sports commentary.

http://blogs.abc.net.au/gerardwhateley/ ... amber.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Abbott is a figure of fun. No comeback from that, he doesn’t have the skills to do that. I tip someone else will be LOTO by end August—the mad, unthinking dash will embolden and make more urgent those hardheads in the Liberal Party who have already, some weeks ago, come to the conclusion that Tone’s whole campaign, his whole strategy has failed.

That “bloody woman” just won’t “lie down and die.”

Her address to the Minerals Council last night was the address of someone in full control.

Australians will vote for someone they don’t like if that person is seen to be decisive. On the other hand while they may vote for a thug they won’t vote for a buffoon. Abbott has acted like a thug, acted, but yesterday made the switch to buffoon. That will not be forgotten, Twitter, facebook, emails etc were running hot with copies of his idiot dash set to Benny Hill chase music, Chariots of Fire music and “Run Rabbit Run” music. He won’t live it down.

Reality checkpoint:
But check the latest results of the major polls, in order of size of margin, to see why the trust in Newspoll was misplaced:

Newspoll: Labor 46, Coalition 54

Nielsen: Labor 43, Coalition 57

Essential: Labor 43, Coalition 57

Morgan: Labor 38.5, Coalition 61.5

Galaxy (federal vote in Queensland only): Labor 36, Coalition 64

Labors only "come-back" will be what they wipe off a handful of die-hard (Jovial Monk like) Labor supporters faces come next federal election. :hlo

Abbott's going to be in for a shock if the Coalition win government next year. He won't be a good administrator like Howard and the job will be too big for him. What shining stars are there in the Coalition to help him? They're all getting a bit long in the tooth now and no doubt suffering some burn out.

Gillard might have improved a bit by then, but it will be too late. Abbott will drop govt. schemes everywhere which will cost more to unravel than they will to go ahead.

We'll be joining Greece and Spain's austerity plan in two or three years .

I trust the good administrators (Howard's) judgement, and think if Howard thinks Tony Abbott will do a fine job, then he will.

Howard doesn't hand out compliments lightly, this or endorse/promote ministers to the top job he doesn't think suitable... this and isn't backward in coming forward in making his views heard if he thinks they aren't suitable or loyal enough, eg, Turnbull, Costello... etc..

But he is confident Abbott will serve well.

By your own admission Mantra, you say Howard was a good administrator.

Remember, it takes one to know one.

Peter Costello would have been better than Abbott, but Howard didn't like the best treasurer in the world because he thought that title belonged to him.

Abbott is just a little dough puppet to Howard. He's probably got another 25 years in him and will pull strings until the day he dies. Howard knows he couldn't manipulate Costello hence the recent hate campaign from his buddies. Costello was also a good administrator as would be Turnbull given the chance.
