If the government was genuinely corrupt - then surely the Coalition would have approached the Governor General by now with a valid reason to sack them.
How does that work with the Governor General and the Constitution?

In any event, it is outside my area of interest. Craig is attacked on two grounds, and if either are true, he must go. The first ground is that he used his Union card to pay for sex. He denies that and refers to people within his Union who set out to destroy him some time ago. Jackson seems connected with that, as she even foreshadowed that Craig would implicate her partner, who certainly does appear to be closely involved.

The second ground is that Union funds were somehow wrongly used to fund his election campaign. It seems it is true that those Union funds were so used. But, if I am to believe the AEC, it is all above board.

If Craig is entirely innocent, where to from there?

IQ with the bullshit response. I never mentioned brothel owners, but not even an ex-working girl etc has come forward and Craig has certainly had more than his fair share of publicity and press coverage.

An inconvenient fact.

Look in smh tomorrow morning—Jessica Wright has a new installment on the Ashby case.

Jovial Retard drawing long bows and trying to distract attention from the fact that a union has been screwing their poor constituents out of $600 a year so he can spend it on hookers and a good time.

I would expect a dirty low life scum like JM to give this type of behavior a tick of approval and an excuse without a second blink. He is a prime example of how and why the unions and Liebor have got themselves into the state they're in :smack

Sticking your fingers in your ears and going lallalalaallallallalalla won't work anymore JM. Your insipid sleazy piece of shit party has been exposed for what it is...even Paul Howes is worried that another useless union lackey sponge will be exposed...shouldn't be too long, c unt

Things aren’t going as planned, are they poor little IQ? Both Ashby and Thomson cases unravelling at a rate of knots. Even Libs like Hockey acknowledging Labor govt will be here for another 18 months and a lot can happen in that time. Meantime, Abbott is starting to look quite sick.

Are we supposed to believe that this whole scam was a set up by his enemies in the union and that others used his card and mobile phone? After these incidents he signed off on his credit card bills without a second thought. If there was the slightest bit of truth in his stories - a normal person would have gone to the police.

He and his wife have also scammed the state out of stamp duty when their last home was purchased under her name, even though he gave that address as his official residence and lived there from the beginning. Rorting the system appears to be second nature to him, but he's a protected species.

Now he gets the protection of parliamentary privilege today. This confirms a precedent used to allow criminality to flourish in our Parliament. How many politicians over the years have used this "privilege" to escape the law which the rest of us have to abide by?

This is another reason to vote for the Greens. You might not like all their policies, but they are not criminals.

Anybody that would vote for the Greens has to be a complete and utter fucking idiot!

If Thomson was aware of any conspiracy - he should have said something at the time, not used this unbelievable story as a last ditch effort to save his skin. He's alienated a lot of people and unfortunately the opposition will make mincemeat of him today.

As far as anyone voting for the Greens being an idiot - let's see how they do at the next Federal election. Labor has alienated a lot of their mainstream voters who hate the Libs. What's another alternative - the Greens? They may end up with only a few seats - but so will Labor.
