Rupert has been found to be not a fit and proper person to run his empire. What a load of crap. Everyone knew what was going on and Rupert ruled by influence. If you pissed him off, the papers wrote bad things about you. All the parties in the UK snuggled up to him for favourable reporting.
The non-fit people are the pollies over the last 30 years that needed to suck up to him.
He is just a businessman running a sucessful business.
It's payback time by those who have been too scared to attack him and deal with him in the past.
How could a man of his level know everything that is going on.
The story:

May the bastard get stronger and show them all they should not have f..ked with the man.
upert Murdoch "is not a fit person to exercise the stewardship of a major international company", MPs have said.
The culture committee questioned journalists and bosses at the now closed News of the World, as well as police and lawyers for hacking victims.
Its report has concluded that Mr Murdoch exhibited "wilful blindness" to what was going on in News Corporation.
But the committee was split six to four with Tory members refusing to endorse the report and branding it "partisan".

No-one should be allowed to control the monopoly of media outlets that Murdoch does. He controls and influences governments and can decide who we should vote for. We can thank the previous Coalition government for allowing the wealthiest media moguls dictatorship over our lives.
May the bastard get stronger and show them all they should not have f..ked with the man.
He's a very greedy old man and regardless of how clever and wiley he is - his thinking has become warped with time. It wouldn't surprise me if he's getting regular blood and hormone infusions to keep him going.

Here in the UK it is the Labour party who have used this as payback.
Impact: $1BN dollars added to value of New Corp today.
Murdocks still have 40% of the voting rights.
I think this will have little real impact. It is a report that has validity but is biased by the one line statement declaring Rupert as "unfit to run an international business". Which is not true, he has sucessfully run an international empire.
Is he a fit and proper person.... hell none of those that make billions are..... they are not saints otherwise they would never have made it.
I don'tthink he is a greedy old man. He clearly loves power and you need money to have power.

Go Rupert, don't accept this crap.
http://www.theage.com.au/world/unjustif ... 1xxsu.html
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp has hit back at a report by British MPs that concluded the media magnate was unfit to run a major company, describing the report as "unjustified and highly partisan".
But the company also admitted that the report contained some "hard truths" about phone hacking at its now-defunct London tabloid, The News of the World.

His company bought the Wall Street Journal, an old and respectable American paper, and dumbed it down and sexed it up. It is hardly worth reading anymore.

Yes but people buy it.
I expect circulation increased after he took it over.
Rupert is not really interested in print media anymore.

Lets start with a few simple questions, is Rupert a communist-Socialist or a free-thinking 'liberal' capitalist?
Is he for or against a new-world-order in terms of media censorship and government dictatorship, if not ownership?
Is he for or against a global warming hypothesis?
I believe he's being politically assassinated to make way for undesirable NWO media changes.
Just my opinion.

Why does everyone hate poor old Rupert? Is his Mum still alive? She is 102, if I remember correctly. Dear old lady who lives in Adelaide.

Not sure if circulation has gone up or not. I do know he is trying to squeeze revenue out of the online version by charging per view. Will that model work? Will younger readers pay for something they may be able to get free elsewhere?
