One person parking badly can upset a whole row of people trying to park properly. When you try and do a reverse park and the 4WD's behind you and in front are a metre out from the gutter - what chance do you have to park neatly?

Then there are those careless people who park over the line, so if you don't want to lock the person in on the other side, you have to lock yourself in and try and squeeze out a door which can only open a couple of inches.

When you return to your car eventually and the culprits have gone - it looks as though you're the one who's parked badly through carelessness.
