The Big Bang Theory - Great Show
I have only just discovered this show here in the UK, on cable.
What a great show. Have you seen it in Oz.

Have seen TV commercials for it here in the States but never watched it. It is a US show, isn't it? Really, I watch very, very little American TV - one can have dozens of cable/satellite stations and quickly come to the conclusion it is ALL crap. The only shows I am really interested in is Mad Men, which begins anew in March (best show evah) and the British drama Downtown Abbey which just began its second season here in the US (am a sucker for Anglophile dramas).

Yes it is a US show.
The best comedy from the US I have enjoyed that is rewatchable since Sienfield. Bloody funny. A must see.

I've been talked into watching it a few times by my daughter who loves it. It is witty, but typical of so many of these Jewish shows. In fact are there any television shows coming out of America today which aren't produced, directed and acted in by Jews? These sitcoms are clever to a point, but definitely repetitive.
Give me a foreign film or an Aussie or English comedy over these stereotypical mass produced US shows anyday. Unfortunately since Howard signed the free trade agreement with the US, they have the rights now to dominate the film market with their rubbish, so our film and television industry is being obliterated.

I agee with you that most of the comedys out of the US are crap. Every 5-10 years that produce something really good. This is one of them. Give it a go.

An Aussie once mentioned to me that Americans must hate the Australian accent b/c Australian actors usually have to take on an American accent in American movies. She didn't understand that that isn't it at all - if an actor has an Australian accent it has to be explained in the story. There are plenty of Australian voice overs in the States. And the outdoor nature/adventure type shows are often hosted by some rugged Aussie.
Yeah, the smart Jewish comedy goes over well here. Blame Woody Allen for that.

I didn't like Woody Allen even before I was aware of the Jewish influence in the US. I could never understand why people thought he was funny.
Our talent often does head over to the US and it's great when you hear an Aussie accent that hasn't been inflicted with an American dialect, but they are still the minority and no great influence on the general population. Here though, 90% of television is American and has been a huge influence on the majority in this country whose sole recreation is TV.

Been a while since I have been to AUS and watched TV so really don't appreciate the damage done by American TV ... still, the number of TV commercials here with an Australian voice hawking Outback Steaks or some other silly product makes me laugh. Go see Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris. Quite good. Jews were in Hollywood from the very beginning.

It takes a long time for many of us to realise the significance of the Jewish media control, but obviously most of us have been influenced by it in good ways and bad for the greater part of our lives.AiA in Atlanta wrote:Been a while since I have been to AUS and watched TV so really don't appreciate the damage done by American TV ... still, the number of TV commercials here with an Australian voice hawking Outback Steaks or some other silly product makes me laugh.
