Australia's latest coming of age tennis star Bernie Tomic ranked 37th has managed to come from 2 sets down to win in 5 sets (4-6 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 6-2 7-5) in defeating the much higher ranked Fernando Verdasco (24th) the 22nd seed.
Lucky for Bernie that the male players don't play the best of 3 sets which is given to the less talented women players, otherwise he'd have been out of the tournament.
The previous Australian to come from 2 sets behind was Leyton Hewitt.
Those tennis players that are taller usually have an advantage which although Hewitt isn't short is probably what stifled Hewitt's career (5' 11"). A couple more inches may have helped his serve and game.
Bernie is 6'5".
Goooo Bernie

Christ, he'll be just as gumpy as Peter Garrott dancing like a burning spastic on stage, only with a tennis racket and sweatband.
Excessively tall people are often uncoordinated, dyspraxic, I already told you this Bart....
Google dyspraxia and height.

6,5 isn't excessively tall. Some of those extra tall basketball players do look cumbersome, at times though.

I hate tennis, but I like

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
