Cheap shot from CNN and Newt handled it admirablyGingrich put the sanctimonious smack down on King for daring to raise the fact that he likes to fuck. He really, really don't want people talking about Newtie Jr's appetite for younger staffers. I wonder why? Well guess what, John King just put your former wife on the front page, and with her your former former wife, and the kids you left living on food stamps when you refused to pay her child support. John King just fucked you, Newt. I thought you liked to fuck?

I love him. He will get my vote. Again. No matter what mistakes he has made during his first term. The GOP candidates are not options for me, and I can't stand religious fundies, either.

Wrong IQ. Obama is a MODERATE Democrat who took office during an economic landslide and has gotten the piss taken out of him by liberals who label him a failure because they feel he didn't do enough and by conservatives as well who label him a "socialist" failure when in fact there is nothing socialist about him at all.IQS.RLOW wrote:How unsurprisingannielaurie wrote:I love him. You can continue to believe that but the truth is that he has been a complete failure as a president no matter what excuse you want to assign.AiA in Atlanta wrote:Wrong IQ. Re: Iowa Hiho!
Speaking of failure, Gingrich is now taking some heat for pocketing $1.8 million in consulting fees for Freddy Mac, just before it tanked and triggered the sub-prime mortgage crisis that resulted in the global economic meltdown. What he did or did not do doesn't really matter, and I'm sure he didn't contribute in any meaningful way to the fall, but it leaves an opening for Romney to once again assert himself as the "success" candidate.
Romney: I'm proud of what I achieved at Bain capital and I won't apologise for being successful. When I provided advice and leadership at Bain, jobs were created and businesses were successful and profit was generated. Newt did some consulting recently didn't he? Offered some highly paid advice to Freddy Mac. What happened there? I think a few jobs might have been lost on that deal, but at least Newt got to pocket his $1.8 million, never mind path of destruction and wholesale unemployment he left in his wake. If you want to draw comparisons with Obama, there's one for you right there - neither understand money, neither can create jobs, and neither have any place at the helm of our economy. At a time like this America needs a president with a proven track record of turning businesses around, businesses like Sports Authority and Staples who now employ hundreds of thousands more people as a result of smart investment and good business leadership. Barack Obama doesn't say a lot of things that I agree with, but he did say something true yesterday. He said there's never been a more stark contrast between the parties than now, and I agree. If I am the nominee America's choice will be clear. Choose success, or continue down the path of failure.
Meanwhile, Romney is also going on the offensive over disclosure. After taking a pounding over his catch 22 tax returns, he's demanding Gingrich disclose the details of his ethics violations and nature of the advice he gave to Freddy Mac just before it hit an iceberg.
Good strategies, and will give him the edge in Florida, but it's all coming too late for S.C. which is looking like a Gingrich win, as voting is already underway.
