Voting here.

I would have included in the original post but apparently we're limited to 10 links per post?

This one tops the list for me this year... and I suspect it will make it on to the double CD in time for consumermas next year.

Do people still buy the CD's? I figured here in the era of itunes people already owned the music they liked from the various albums released over the year.

Yeah true... I should have called it an album. But definitely people do still buy CDs... Sanity still sell them. But like you, I have sucumbed to the iTunes monopoly and buy most of my stuff from them... what I can't purchase anywhere because it is no longer available on the market, I steal from BitTorrent. Some of the music from Fluke for example cant be got anywhere except BitTorrent.

I still buy CDs, but rarely (getting old, apparently :P). Download a few individual tracks now and then, but I find that there are often gems hidden away in albums that I never hear off, otherwise.

I'll be looking for the Gotye album when I get the chance.

I can't remember the last time I bought a CD and I buy a lot of music... I love music... my soul food. Even I concede that I have a music collection to die for.

Love this one...

(When posting youtubes... can we put up the name/band, please? I don't open up the link unless I may be interested in playing it.)

Sorry about that... two of the youtube posts have the name in the youtube link... the one missing is by Fluke and called Squirt... but I can't edit now to add that.
