The three anti-whaling demonstrators who boarded the Japanese whaling boat in international waters were described by Greens leader Bob Brown as hereos.
How on earth could they be hereos.
Does Bobby advocate piracy now, and what other vigilante activities will Brown be endorsing.
The unresolved outcome of these Australian pirates will cost Australian taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, just to retrieve them, but will Bobby be putting his hand in his pocket. Afterall he thinks that they are hereos. Hardly!
Heroes? Hardly!

Re: Heroes? Hardly!
Whales are migratory creatures, when they are in Japanese or international waters, they are property of Japan, or the international community...this and not really our business, or should be something we take upon ourselves as individuals to stop.
We could start farming them in Olympic sized swimming pools, and try to save them from extinction, if we weren't too busy trying to pick the evidence of their rotting blubber out of our poorly maintained shark nets.
Why wont this hero offer their time to ensuring whales closer to home are not stuck in our poorly maintained or disused shark-net?

Will Bobby expect the Australian Navy to escort future Australian pirates for their vigilante activities?
Wouldn't matter as Japan will just include more of their Coast Guard which should be more than adequate to call the Navy's bluff.
