Private Hospital cover rises slightly

hehehehe Sheepy was furious that he would have to pay the real cost for his health insurance when the medicare surcharge levels were raised, you know that so many would leave that the insurance premiums would have to rise.

Apparently this increase gives the govt the ammo it needs to knock back big premium rises the industry is applying for!

good thing too......we've bailed from our private cover. too damned expensive for what it is

I like having private health cover. The public health system is becoming too scary for me. I might have to get my mother some private health soon as her health has been ailing recently and I don't think the public health system, in its present state, would be able to assist her. Not anti-public health or anything, just concerned about the direction it's going.
