Housework
We all know that housework is women's work and that a woman's work is never done, cause they so laxy, but what housework needs to be done and what would you suggest should be the schedule.
Like ironing, should only your shirts be ironed but should other items be done (eg pillow slips, tea towels or even undies!!).

Women...if they had brains they'd be men

Housework isn't womans work in my house, could you please call my wife and tell her she has it all wrong?Bart wrote:We all know that housework is women's work and that a woman's work is never done, cause they so laxy, but what housework needs to be done and what would you suggest should be the schedule.

As for ironing, thats easy I dont iron my clothes or my sons, boys/men dont need clothes ironed unless they wear business suits /shirts, and my wife irons her own clothes, I have to draw a line somewhere.
As for the rest, nup, never iron undies, tea towels et al, but my grandma used to even iron my hankies.

Re: Housework
I hang clothes up straight after washing them on an airing rack near a breeze - little or no ironing. I refuse to have a dish washer because of the water consumption and find that cleaning up after yourself asap cuts down on work. Other than that - I hate it and think it should always fall to the one who does it best.

Re: Housework
I have a cleaner and gardener to do my 'house' work... otherwise, like Mantra, I just clean up after myself.
