The US condemns human rights abuses abroad yet appears to be allowing the psychological torture of Bradley Manning

A Ryan Gallagher article in The Guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree ... -hypocrisy is worth reading. Some highlights:

Bradley has spent the last 218 days in a cell, 6 by 12 foot in size
He is not allowed to see other detainees
His trial will not occur for another 100 days at least
The charges are being ramped up all the time
The latest charge carries a possible death penalty
He is being forced to strip naked before retiring at night
He is allowed no exercise etc
And why?

WikiLeaks, or more precisely Julian Assange
Which has got up some pretty powerful noses
Including Hillary Clinton the President and some gun toten Republicans
Wikileaks has not damaged anyone, but it has hurt dignity
They can’t prove Bradley had direct contact with Julian Assange
Unless that is they brainwash him and he “confesses”

The US also used physical and psychological torture on David Hicks. :b :b

Imagine the US response if ASIO or ASIS did that to one of their civilians.
Women...if they had brains they'd be men
