This Is Your Life
Even in the best circumstances LIFE is only a few short decades. Start doing things you love. Stop over analyzing this board and and get on with it and post. Life is GOOD here at PA: gone is the mad drama over IPs and socks mostly and the incessant talk about moving the board as well as the threats and abuse. Guest posting is turned on so no one has to pretend they don't have a voice. Lisa is gone again. Humour seems to have returned for most. Yeah, sure not everyone is happy but those that aren't are probably watching way too much TV anyway. Aussie's Meatpuppet Administration was kicked out again and his Flying Monkeys will never be happy about that. So be it. I can't please everyone. I am not going to try.
Fuck me in the arse but I didn't want to ban the Monk and his puppets. Weeks and weeks of his constant abuse, threats and complaining was causing me to lose my leonine mane anyway but the straw that broke the Monk's back was his repetitive posting of the same petition after I asked him twice not to do so. So there, he is banned after I said I wasn't going to ban anyone. Is that such a travesty?
The constant parade of complaints, petitions and general bitching is moved to the Playground as it saps the energy of the board and my own. But I don't have the time or interest to comb through every word in every post down here so don't be surprised if something is overlooked. We are doing the best we can. I have a real life people. You probably do too. If you don't, please go and find one. Life is simple. LIFE is SHORT.

Live your dream and share your passion not your dirty laundry. Guest posting is on a short holiday.

Re: This Is Your Life
Long, long ago in a PA far, far away guest posting was turned on and off randomly. These were the halcyon days when the sharp crack of the goose step from Aussie's boot was unknown in our mythic paradise. Only later did we feel the bite of his heel in our flesh.

Hey folks! I will be enjoying life away from PA in America's oldest city you can google it now for the New Year holiday. will try to check in if i can but that is unlikely.
Sadly, Monk is spamming this forum at such a furious pace I have had to change a setting so I won't return to the same mayhem he admits creating during the Christmas holiday. Am sure you understand.
Happy New Year and LIVE YOUR DREAM.unless your dream is to spam this forum

After basking in the history of 450 years of St. Augustine, Florida I have decided not to approve any new memberships until after the election things were relatively quite here compared to the Christmas mayhem. Our friends are quite simply attacking our home and with the intent to disrupt elections. I will not let that happen.

The great PA Election Erection is underway. May the best man or woman win.
When the election is over you can all go home early.

While nobody can say who will win we can say that no matter who wins it will get very, very quiet here after the election.

Re: This Is Your Life
Any one else struggle while in front of the computer first thing in the morning? I have been reading this before getting started for the day:
The first thing you do when you sit down at the computer
Let me guess: check the incoming. Check email or traffic stats or messages from your boss. Check the tweets you follow or the FB status of friends.
You've just surrendered not only a block of time but your freshest, best chance to start something new.
If you're a tech company or a marketer, your goal is to be the first thing people do when they start their day. If you're an artist, a leader or someone seeking to make a difference, the first thing you do should be to lay tracks to accomplish your goals, not to hear how others have reacted/responded/insisted to what happened yesterday.
